Well, we now have Void and High Elves in Silvermoon as permanent citizens. City is neutral, traitors are heroes, murderers are welcome.
Glory to the Alliance, I guess.

I wonder if Lor'themar will continue to rule, or if it will be the Council now? Vereesa's dissolution of the Silver Covenant is pretty much confirmed. Which makes me a little sad, because the Silver Covenant existed for so long, but now it is over.
But not your people. You betrayed them long ago. Both High and Void Elves. But anyway, its no matter. You win.
Only bc devs write blood elves as princess in distress to be saved by Void Elves.

Lor'themar? Or Horde race should be ruled by Alliance characters again? Oh, sorry. Neutral race now. Rainbow elves.

I expect Blood Elves will defend their lands, not wait for their Void overlords to come and save the day.
I expect you just leave Horde lands, as Forsaken left Gilneas and Horde left Amirdrassil.
At least stick with Silverwind Refuge, as far as possible within Quel'thalas. But share a capital? Join any goverment? Nope, I didn't expect that before. Now? I'm 100% sure of it.
I said it, Alliance won over Quel'thalas. It will be some time, but roofs will be colored blue and plegde to Alliance will be done.
Give it time, we will see taurens and trolls as Alliance too.

The only confirmed thing is an embassy in Silvermoon for the Void Elves. Nothing about what happens to the High Elves.
Some of them was.
What about blood elves? Why they need to share their capital with traitors and murderers? Why story going that way so they lick Void Elves boots?
What about -1 capital for Horde?
Mate, that just devs shits over Horde and Blood Elves fans to please Alliance/HE/VE. Thats all. As usual, it seems.

>Umbric "You are actually letting us back into the city regularly? Willingly?
Nope, they are full fledged citizens now.

Well they seem to be using Void Elves as their way of making Alliance High Elves playable so they might as well finish the job. And Blood Elves could have more reddish hair tints or features that represent their transition to Blood Elves since that's the main thing that separates them from the High Elves.
That's a nothing comment.
High Elves also had red hair, like one who was part of Sylvanas' Elite Ranger Squad. She was described as having long red hair.
No - Blood Elves are entitled to their own stuff as well and it shouldn't be the case that Void Elves get theirs plus all blood elf stuff, so I'm glad that Ion has stated that everyone will be treated as fairly as possible. It's basically saying "Void Elves aren't getting all Blood Elf stuff."

Void elves getting "high elf" customizations does not have to mean they copy 100% of blood elf stuff. There are many fan concepts of human/kul tiran and night elf hairstyle swaps on void elves. It looks great and does not step on blood elf toes much.
I am very disappointed that both blood elves and void elves did not get aby new customizations though, considering this is the expansion focusing on both groups and their homeland.
Well just play a Void Elf with the blood elf skin colours, blood elf hair colours and no-tentacles. Job done.

They do have a lot of armour and weaponry that is based after them. Sometimes, it's not about the direct additional features for our characters, but more about the gear and weapons that come with it.
The new shields for the Blood Elves are absolutely incredible.
Absolutely agree. I love thalassian themed weapons and armors coming in Midnight. I am glad they all come in various colour variants too.
I would like to see addition of new heritage armor recolors too for both blood elves and void elves, so you would be able to mix your heritage with Midnight mogs.
someone on the EU forum transcribed the audio files that deal with the high elves returning to silvermoon

i wonder where this will lead too.
for me, the last part about the compact, would be the ideal solution to the high elf discussion. The compact has obviously members that like the horde, and others that like the alliance. We have seen this with pandaren and dracthyr before. Same people, different likes in the factions. Neutral "blood/high" elves would, at least for me, rest the case for high elves entirely.
