well, here it is

It's a fine cinematic. I love that they showed that Veressa and Arathor did help with Quel'thalas after Scourge, even though they could have helped Dalaran instead
Well, now people can be blood elves on the alliance and represent as such
so, no point of keeping blood elves, mechanically on the horde if i can look like one on the alliance, right? And thus, we would finally have the high elves available on the alliance.
Just give Alliance a half-elf allied race inspired by Arator. They would be close enough to high elves to satisfy the itch while being different enough from blood elves to not be a clone of them.
Over 10 years of elf fans never be satisfied until they get what they want, and this suggestion would be no different.
Specifically to this website high elf fans won't be satisfied until they get playable high elves on Alliance, using the current blood elf model but with blue and green tattoos (à la Alleria's original depiction) for customization, not worrying about that pesky "void" word in their racial names.
Interesting...
We shall see what comes. I'd be surprised if we didn't see Amani Trolls due to the popularity, so this might be the Alliance equivalent.

Could be Blizz trying to give High Elves at least some form of unique visual identity
I mean if it's similar to the Void Elf situation in that its High Elves but a tad to the left, at least it has a theme that would logically at least LOOK like what everyone was asking for in the first place, even as a Void Elf fan I have to admit Blizz missed the mark, Void did not gel with the High Elf fantasy, a Wind Elf could hopefully be something most people can say "eh, close enough" to.
I've been thinking about this, my major concern is that they are marked for Shop?
But I am seeing how popular the Amani Trolls are being and I can't see why they wouldn't be added to the game and then the question would be who the Alliance race would be.
Liadrin is the Amani's way back to the Horde alongside potentially the Zandalari.

Highvale Elves from the Hinterlands, taught shamanism by the Wildhammmer dwarves.
Yes. Although I think options should range from: generic High Elf, to shamaniatic ranger with scars or tattoos.
Hairstyles should offer a couple of normal ones you might expect on any elf (shared between Void Elves and Blood Elves), and also some that look like you belong in the wilds, swooping through the air on your mount.
Eye colours should offer mostly blue and white or grey variants. Perhaps a couple of unique ones that remind you of storms and rain. Not sure, perhaps there's a literal texture or particle effect. Optional, of course.
Obviously, new face options are needed for all elves.
A new neutral idle pose would be quite welcome, as an option for all elves.
In the Midnight questline, it seems that certain players get different quest dialogue options depending on their customizations, like being a Man'ari. It seems like the simplest option would be to continue down that path, and let the player's ingame mouseover tooltip race name change depending upon the customizations you have selected. So if you have the Darkfallen blood elf customizations, then the game will formally recognize you as a Darkfallen. If you do not have the Void Elf colorations and tentacles, the game will formally recognize you as a high elf. RP addons like TRP can already adjust player mouseover tooltips like this, but the other person has to also have TRP in order for it to read as "High Elf" when mousing over instead of Void Elf.
After that, the next step would be to be give more High Elf representation in the Alliance by having some settlements and an army, rather than the current situation where ingame it just looks like a few Silver Covenant members and that's it.

There's 0 reason to not have every customization shared between the velf/belf/helf races, either their differences being primarily political and potentially available classes same thing for every race that can reasonably share those customizations this game needs more options desperately
Especially for older races like blood elves who have an objectively midling number of options and the vast majority of their hair styles are terribly outdated
Can't wait for my high elf to be void teleporting around, and using a void voice filter and turning people XD
