I myself who not fan of them and would prefer rather Vrykul or Eredar must admit HELF more popular demand than my picks.
again, there is a big difference of a race being "massively asked" and a feature of the game as whole, being massively demanded, like the guy who i quoted say
i know they are a popular choice among players, and while a lot of people want then, a lot don't , so no, don't giving HE to alliance don't mean the company is looking to a massive demand as feature and refusing to attend (or maybe they are accepting the "massively demand of not adding then?)
This is just stretching things like saying blizzard is losing trillion of dollars because they didn't put then

Perculia is extremely biased towards the Alliance, to the point it clouds her judgment. Back in Zandalari paladin days, she simultaneously reported that when class lists were datamined for the Dark Iron dwarves and the Zandalari, that the Dark Iron one wasn't complete, but the Zandalari one was. She even went as far as to write an article about "Why Zandalari can't be paladins." It was ridiculous, but a lot of people read it and were misinformed. This article is no better than the Taliesin and Evitel video; they all ignore the actual problem. In the entirety of that article, her only use of the word "faction" is for potential sources for High Elves. I don't know how she can even claim to be presenting the arguments both for and against when she fails to mention the single most significant argument of one side.
Blizzard is as much to blame for the demand as anyone, and it's not going to go away until they stop shoving the Silver Covenant everywhere every other expansion. Is it seriously a surprise Alliance players want high elves after seeing them and Vereesa all the time? They have more presence than gnomes or dwarves.
Even now, with void elves available as an alternative, they keep adding new high elf NPCs and wondering why people want to play as them. If they wanted to sell the idea that high elves aren't enough to be playable, they should have never introduced any of them as nameless NPCs. Every single one should have a name at the very least.
Seeing this topic jump from page 117 to 207 is crazy no matter what side of the issue you're on. Of all the controversial things in this game, this has to be one of the hottest.
Biggest problem is that blizzard's logic is flawed
1: We don't want to put blood elves in the alliance * cough void elves*
2: Not enouth of them again *cough void elves*
Any point blizzard makes againt helves also applies to void elves, so there moot.
Then theres the fair skinned blonde haired model angle they don't like giving, because they look to similar.
Well then change the model, go with the elisande calling them mongrels breeding with lesser races. And giving them more human features. You would even have Arathor the redeemer as racial leader and have a half elf model for him.
But thats the crux isn't it that would mean making new models for an allied race instead of making reskin of an existing race, now reskinning a race isn't bad if said race has enouth back story to back that up.
Which only applies to nightborne and highmountain, and just barely for lightforged. Void elves barely have backstory if any.
And alliance high elves could have plenty back story. Have this inner stuggle with do i choose home or honor, blood or friendship, family or love. All those things could work.
But thats not what im pieved about. Im pieved that blizzard found it necessary to twist the dagger so to to speak, after making their statement which again was full with flawed logic.
And ill continue to fight for this topic untill eather blizzard
1: Makes an argument that you can't poke holes into like wet tissue paper
Or
2: Admits outright they won't do it because they don't want to.
Again unless one of those criteria is met. I will continue to argue this topic.

As I said, turn it round. Make the new model for the Blood Elves to reflect them changing due to their Light infused Sunwell, and leave the High Elves with the old model with blue eyes. That way they spent their time on a Core Horde race model, and the left overs go to the Alliance. At which point the Alliance has both versions on the old elf model while the Horde has the superior new elf model.
"we don't want to put blood elves in the alliance, so we change their color, so they become basically a new race"
this basicaly mean they didn't want to put a copy paste race, who high elves are, void eles at least are recolors
just because one race have exception, didn't mean the argumment is null and should be always ignored2: not enouth of them again *cough void elves*
and again, we don't have any population numbers, VE population could be more than the Silver covenant, more than the elves ins tormwind, or the elves in whatever the place
The He population should only be bigger if we just get all of then around he world and other world(outland) and thats is impossible to do, cause most of then are just civilins
it rly don'tAny point blizzard makes againt helves also applies to void elves, so there moot.

the half-elf suggestion was already given but was shutdown by the marjory of the HE cult, only pure elves are allowed
they already did, they don't want do it because it would blur the factionsAnd ill continue to fight for this topic untill eather blizzard

I wonder how many of those in support of the "oh you just want better elves" will feel about this idea. Objectively giving Blood Elves better models and letting Alliance have the "old" High Elf models sounds like it should appease that group, should it not? We'll have to wait for our BE mains to weigh in
