Elves can be cut off from the well, it has been done several times in the past and the void elves would literally be in agony if they were still connected to it, it might even kill them. Why doesn't really matter, whether it was their transformation that shattered that link or Rommath who cut it. And you can't choose what kind of power to drain from the sunwell, it is one package.

Void and Light are polar opposites. We know that Turalyon and Alleria can no longer touch physically after their respective transformations. Given that the Sunwell is now a font of holy and arcane energies, any Void Elf who attempted to feed on it would endure agony.

As they are not curled in a heap in Telrogus screaming, the obvious conclusion is that they no longer feed on the well. Either they feed their addiction using shadow magic, or their transformation cured their addiction.

It's certainly a direction Blizzard could move in. The Horde now has the Nightborne as their "magic elves", so it leaves room to focus on Light for future Blood Elf design.

Also lightforged draenei have the mage class. Lightforged beings can be mages as well. Fits perfectly the blood elf theme

1-3 were warm-ups so they look a bit sloppy. 4-6 turned out much better imo.

I actually like second hairstyle the most. Sixth mark is sick!

High Elves have not been cut off from the well. The fact that green eyes are still an option for Blood Elves shows that not all Elves are reflecting the change in the nature of the Sunwell at the same pace.

Were Alliance High Elves to have been cut off from the Sunwell, you'd know about it as it it is a death sentence for the High Elves involved. They would then have to find a substitute form of magic to sate their addiction. The methods they used when the Sunwell had been destroyed were always a short term measure, designed to stave off the inevitable while a permanent cure was sought. Inevitably, they would give into apathy and then death.

For the last time Gameplay, your whole argument is already incredibly ignorant, because you lay emphasis on blue eyes, news flash, blue eyes do not make a high elf even back in the day they had different eye colors, Allerias eyes were green, Lorthemars were brown for example.

You try to use something as foundation that simply is none

You don't know that they haven't. As explained, NPC High Elf model skins are non-selectable options on the Blood Elf model you can check in the wowhead dressing room.

The reason High Elf models don't have golden eyes is because Blizzard hasn't assigned them any yet.

Lorewise, like Blood Elves with the colour green, blue may remain the dominant eye colour at the moment for Alliance High Elves. As there are so few High Elves, golden eyed Alliance High Elves might not have had a chance to manifest yet.

Because Blood Elves' eyes are jammed on high beam due to their abuse of mana tap. High Elves don't commonly have a strong glow to their eyes.

Those weren't just customization options, but complete model reworks. The existing NPCs have other options selected, so there's no overlap with the golden eye color.

Well that is your opinion. And your opinion is as valid as my opinion. And as everyone else. Just because you dont give a damn for the color of the eyes, i do because for me they are equivalent to the lightforged draenei light costumizations

Well new npcs they can if they simply dont care about the old ones, as you suggest. Bfa has new alliance high elf npcs. They could give them golden eyes as well, no? But i havent seen any in the previews i have seen in mmo champ.

Please, no. I want blood elves to be master mages. I know I play blood elf paladin, but it's because there isn't battlemage class.

I go ENH shaman for my battlemage needs..but you overall are right DK some might count buut i don't personslly. Would be great to get one though

Honestly at this point it may be one of their only hopes as they could say ion was just avoiding spoilers..his "horde is their for you" comment is still beyond egregious abd a PR disaster though
