Nah the sentence is totally fine, you should stop to play dumb and making things as they aren't, such as saying that someone at the starting of this thread threated others with mass shootings or telling me that i told someone to literally die.

I don't know about the ones threatening to kill themselves and i saw somebody wanting cancer for anti helfers (and i called him about), but what i'm really sure is that you hide behind the storm of information to make as people are totally crazy feeling free to twisting the means of what they said, and that is what somebody without principles do for trying to harass others by destroying their images.

It isn't possible, that's our counter-point. You cannot make a High Elf that is distinguishable from Blood Elves without them ceasing to be High Elves, as Void Elves proved.

If the pro High Elf community wishes to 'have their fun' as you put it they can do so on the Legacy of Quel'thalas facebook page and discord, communities where they control membership and they can block anyone whom they don't like.

If you post here or on the official forums, you are going to encounter Anti High Elf posters who are going to point out all the flaws with the suggestions put forward in the pro High Elf echo chamber.

That isn't a whole heck of a lot better than what the first guy was saying. I hate to disappoint you, but I will not be getting crippling depression. Both because a development in a video game isn't going to scar me for the rest of my life, and also because I don't believe I'll ever be in a position to find out.

Given the death threats against Ion and calls for his firing post interview and now individuals on the pro High Elf side wishing their opponents literally suffer a slow and agonising death, it seems there is a dark and rancid underbelly to the pro High Elf position that has formed as a result of the networking performed by that community.

Some of your pals need to take a long hard look at themselves.

The pro High Elf side is the one that is 100% opinion, that opinion being High Elves should be playable for the Alliance.

The Anti High Elf side is based on evidence. In game evidence, out of game evidence, word of god, interviews with Chris Metzen. You bring something up, the Anti High Elf side has a fact based, sourced response.

This is why the majority of pro High Elf discourse is based around trying to argue why what a developer says doesn't matter, or what is in game doesn't count.

My side is who really honestly cares if High Elves become playable ... I don't. If they do, fine ... if they don't, fine. I don't care if they are playable. My side is your are just as wrong as the pro-helfers but no argument will convince you of that reality.

It is entirely true. Like it or not the developers have on multiple occasions ruled out playable Alliance High Elves.

Your entire project is based on trying to convince them to change their minds, which are currently set against playable Alliance High Elves.

I can not understand why wanting some lacking classical race, no matter if willing to compromise, no matter if willing to discussion, have to face so much agression and viollence.

Most of it I actually saw here turned against High Elf fans. To the point, that it stops to be not just discussion about fan made High elf concepts, but about Warcraft elves at all, and instead changes into strange tale about some wild monsters, weaved of examples of people provoked and teased for years.

It is easy to play such game, but there is nothing worth respect in playing it.

Because it is nonsensical to argue against a position if you don't have an emotional stake in the outcome. In the big referendum here in Ireland a few weeks back there wasn't a single person on either the for or against side who, after laying out the case for their position in a speech would end it by saying 'but I don't care either way so.'

Y'all, this thread started with some awesome potential to discuss things that could make High Elves stand out and worth it as an allied race. The OP has so many cool ideas in it, and there was clearly a lot of effort put into it. While we're not saying this has to be a "pro high elf" only thread, coming into here just to say "it's never happening" and stomp all over each other isn't okay.

It doesn't matter if the devs hypothetically do say that it will never happen. People are still allowed to speculate and have fun with ideas. A lot of you seem to only post in here to destroy that and rile others up, and that needs to stop.

I'm requoting this because some of y'all have seem to forgotten the purpose of this thread IS to HAVE FUN WITH IDEAS!

So all the talk of "if they want to speculate they can go do it in their Discord/Facebook group" can just get over themselves.

This thread is around for the purpose of sharing/talking about High Elf ideas, come in with disagreements sure that's cool too.

But to say people shouldn't be able to talk about High Elves in this thread SPECIFICALLY FOR HIGH ELVES is very much asinine.

If it's something that bothers you (general) to see people talking about something you (general) don't like then here's a very simple solution:

Don't enter the thread anymore.

Y'all have a nice day and stop being so sensitive over what's said, on both sides.

Besides, the only people that took actual action comes from the anti-Helf side where they deleted a Wiki section (but got caught) and then another time changed all artwork in a google drive full of High Elf artwork sent to Chris Robinson with drawings of anti-helf trolls killing high elves etc.

So one group have "said things" while another has actually "done things" --- but ultimately just stop being sensitive and stop focusing on attacking the persons.

Talk about High Elves (whether for or against or ideas or solutions or artwork or etc) or don't should be the main comments in this thread.
