Considering there have been plenty of iterations of Dark Paladins, probably, yes.

Lightforged Turalyon nearly died from being tossed through a Void Portal, but Light is less open to alternative methods instead of the One Accepted Truth than the Void is.

You resisted even the idea of giving void elves "normal-ish" skin as a compromise in 2017, when we didn't even know what options they'd get.
You kept the last two years saying we wouldn't get normal-ish skins.
You said void elves asd they were were our compromise and we should stop.

Now, this is a true compromise, and I'm happy for it. I'm happy for blood elves getting blue eyes. Because the high elf wars are over. Everyone got their fair-skinned blue-eyed elves.

Not perfect, not what we were asking, but good enough. All we need now is lore and storylines, which void elves also lack since their inception. Make high and void elves unite in some way and push their story forward together, and we are good to go.

Yes I did, but I acknowledged the possibility once Afrasiabi made his comment if even I believed the chances to be remote. I believed them to be extremely unlikely once Ion rejected blue eyes, as this would not have made sense on the same principle. That they caved on both at the same time suggests they've decided to end the debate once and for all by simply giving everyone everything.

However, a Void Elf is still not a high elf. It is a variant, cut off from the sunwell and the light and unable to be a Paladin.

This debate however is over at least, which is something we can all be thankful for.

Hi, anyone else has the feeling that races without pupils and irises in their eyes feel like without expression. For example, elves.

I don't know if it's against the lore, but adding at least pupils in their eyes would make these races much more "humanoid" and more expressive/emotive.

This is the sort of racisim that the eleves have been fighting against since the beginning. You can't humanize an elf because its not human.

There's no current intention to close this thread as the clearinghouse for all things High Elf, so it will remain where such conversations should be focused, yes.

The names Sindorei and Rendorei (the ones they will use for quest givers) are just political factions, same as the names "Void Elf" and "Blood Elf". So if you're a High Elf using void magic allied with Alleria and Umbric then an NPC calling you Rendorei is correct.

Face it, you wasted years of your life fighting against something ultimately pointless.

Well, I'm happy! I won't read the posts above me as I'm sure people will still find some reason to be outraged, but as someone who's wanted high elves in the game for a long, long time, this is the perfect compromise.

You're still classified as a Void Elf and everyone calling you by race will say Void Elf. And your racial gives you voidy looks. But you can at least look like and pretend to be a High Elf easier now!
