You know, there's a datamined green void elf eye color, so now you can be a blood elf in the Alliance as well, lol.
(It's different from belf green, thought. It has white pupil with greenish schlera)

Whatever...
Void elves should definitely have green eyes as well.
Oh no no no. This would get into Tom Cruise laughing potential if Void Elves were given that color!! LOL can't have that happening
There's already loads of people commenting the way @Varx used to do: If they give Alliance their High Elves, what will Horde get in exchange?!
Well except people tweaked it and are saying "If Alliance are getting blood elf skins what are Horde getting in exchange?!"
People have already been answering that question with, "you got your blue eyes lul"

Druid for Blood Elves and Paladins for Void Elves? Agree with that!
Yeah, give them green eyes. I already got my popcorns ready.
I also remember saying that the biggest request Void Elf fans kept having were to 'look like Alleria' and we see with changes to Entropic Embrace and today's news that this is exactly what Void Elves are getting.
I remember a certain someone saying that popularity in that regard doesn't matter. They look woefully wrong now!![]()
If that photo-negative entropic embrace makes it into live I'll be so stoked! The contrast from peach tone to dark EE will be amazing looking. I just hope they finish it by making the hair turn to that more twilightish void color (as in WoW twilight magic, not sparkle vampires) that we see Alleria's change to as well.
Now, just let the new Uni-elves be druids and we're done.
so it's over right? both factions can have pretty elves with white skin and blue eyes?
if i was still playing i'd be like "ha, cool."
No sense crying over spilt beer, unless you're drunk...
Yes, it is the upcoming novel that sets the stage for Shadowlands.
I find them epic already. They are very underrated. Both Alleria and Umbric played a pivotal role in the Fourth War:
- Alleria saved the Alliance army from annihilation at the Battle of Lordaeron.
- Umbric helped locate the Abyssal Scepter, which was necessary to lay siege to Zuldazar.
They are not the kind of "in-your-face epic" that someone like Arthas would be. But they are still epic in their own way.
You know, high elf fans really have the anti helf crowd to thank for this by demanding blue eyes.
It's the perfect time to start, i f it works out well, couldn't we see the Kul'tirans getting human normal and thin human, while humans getting the kul'tiran bulkier type and thin model?
Nightborne/Night elf is a good start because it's teh same model essentially with just shaved down body mass and the gear fittings have already been done.
Night elves could have 3 body types:
Slim (modelled after the Nightborne) - great for highborne and caster /rogue types
Normal (modelled after the regular night elf) - great for warrior/ animal druid/hunter types
Ripped (modelled from the DH illidari) - great for meleers
but ultimately you choose, your body definition and size depends on you.
Nightborne coudl have 2 body types
Slim (normal nightborne)
bulky (night elf normal model)
Interesting announcement by Blizzard regarding the Blood and Void Elf customization options. The blue eyes for Void&Blood Elves don't really have a lot of lore significance but the Blood Elf skin-tones for Void Elves indicates that either High/Blood Elves are mastering the Void like Alleria (rather than being changed by force), or the transformation of the original Void Elves is wearing off or the original Void Elves have further mastered the Void to the point where they can suppress it enough to get their original skin-color back. I wonder if Blizzard will ever give an explanation.
Blood Elves evolved from green-eyed mana-junkies who drained a Naaru for holy powers to a traditional fantasy elf light oriented society. It seems the Void Elves are also slowly evolving from blue/grey mental-patients to a more traditional fantasy elf society. Which was to be expected ofcourse since Blizzard loves redemption stories.
If there isn't a lore explanation but Blizzard just went for the "Wildhammer" solution of giving skin/customization options to an already existing race then Blizzard effectively gave both the Horde and Alliance playable blue-eyed High Elves.
If there isn't a lore reason explaining the Void Elves new customization options it will become harder for Blizzard to deny Void Elves the customization options (e.g. hair-styles, ear-sizes, jewelry) they give to Blood Elves but at the same time it would feel unfair to Horde players if Blood Elves end up with less customization options than Void Elves.
"I guess only blood elves feel like the odd man out for the Horde. I hope that we've engineered that into it as deftly as we could, but you know, it's the equivalent of a bunch of white chicks hanging out with goblin or tauren. It's weird." -- Chris Metzen
