If she had no care for her people, and was focused solely on their horde alignment, she would never have come to their aid in Cata, and she would never have worked with them in Legion.
This is a good thing, it gives her more depth as a character.

What ? Alleria also calls Sivermoon her home. Even Lor'Themar describes her as a child of Quel'Thalas. She also says "My people" when she refers to the Blood elves Yet she's Alliance. You're just fooling yourself.

Also the Ghostlands thing isn't canon, I'm sorry.

I don't see how the blood elves are slowly going alliance.The high elves as we know them are still largely scattered and doing their own thing. SL might change things though considering the customization development.

See Telegrus Rift and the new costumizations options for the Alliance. Alliance Silvermoon elves are a thing.

I have to disagree with you there. They knew quel'thalas was in danger and they bailed. They also had the chance to help rebuild it and still didn't do so.
How do you claim it to be home when you've abandoned it during the times they needed you?
The high elves/void elves are also a much smaller force than the blood elves.
We're talking at worst a 9 to 1 ratio.

Some elves in Silvermoon may not still feel Horde in 2020.

If the alliance tries to help that will just start up another warand no one wants it. So I doubt an invasion of quel'thalas will occur.

But that's not up to you to decide. If Blizzard wants Quel'Thalas to be invaded, it will.

To be honest, that is perhaps the most realistic portrayal of anyone in general. People can have views on one thing, change their mind, do things that seemingly contradict, but still wish for other things.

Unless you're saying everyone is consistent in beliefs and attitudes in all spectrums.

The future is unknown but looks like as of BFA there's a big push for her, Alleria, and Umbric towards bringing Silvermoon/Blood Elves back to the Alliance.

So I find the 'rejoining Silvermoon in the Horde' to be implausible with what we know currently. Things can change ofc, "anything's possible"

I would argue that we currently don't know how new Void Elves are being made. I think it unlikely that it's even possible to recreate Durzaan's ritual... interrupt it in just the right way... at just the right time... to create new Void Elves. And even if its possible, it's certainly not advisable or even necessary. Not when they have Locus Walker and Alleria at hand who can train new Void Elves in the same way Alleria learned. Granted Dark Naaru don't grown on trees but there's nothing saying they can't come up with an alternative to that.

There is nothing in game indicating how new Void Elves come to be. Hopefully when these new customizations become available we'll get some in-game mentions by NPC's of the how's and why's of Alliance High Elves joining the ranks of the Ren'dorei that ultimately explain the new customization in a round about way.

As to Blood Elves getting nothing... I believe that Blood Elves should (and very well might!) get the red eyes and dead skin tones used by San'layn and Dark Ranger NPC's. This would give a specific unique aesthetic that only Blood Elves have access too much in the same way Void Elves have their void aesthetics. I would also say that if Void Elves are getting Blood Elf hairstyles (we still don't know yet), then the Void Elf non-tentacle hairstyles should be shared with Blood Elves in kind.

I think it's too soon to get up in arms. This announcement was a teaser. It didn't give us a rundown of everything that's being given in detail. I'm hopeful that we'll all be happy with what we get though.

Came to their aid in Cata, then slaughtered many in MoP, then continued badgering them during Legion during Insurrection encampment, and in BFA era wants Blood Elves to come back to the Alliance (along with Alleria, and Magister Umbric).

Apologies. She's a very distant relation apparently, so there isn't much weight to it. A shame really cos there could have been so really powerful dialogue written for the encounter, but she's pretty throwaway.

As they're a generic troop, it means there's countless High Elf Paladins (non-Blood Elf).

Blizzard commented about it sometime back.
If you see an NPC with a unique class, they're an exception and not an option for players.
This includes the dranei and orc demon hunters you encounter.
A generic troop =/= meaningless.
Generic NPC's died by the tons in purge of dalaran, but in the actual lore, there were only 3 fatalities.
Why are helfers always giving anything involving special consideration? O-o
Let alone...void elves would explode dude. Paladins are infused with light.

I disagree with him entirely on the hair. Void elves deserve to resemble their racial leader but they should achieve this through new designs, maybe based on Alleria's braids and other ideas shown here. Straight up pasting over all the blood elf hairstyles is a terrible idea.

I agree with you. I think making the options for hair different would be nice. Even the colors shouldn't be the same, thought I'd like to have options like silver-blue, dark red and bege, maybe dual color hair as well. Anything beyond hair colors in 9.0 is unlikely, thought).

I think void elves will inherit the ear size setting, but will get unique hair and jewelry (eventually). And, I hope, tattoos/warpaint like Alleria's.

You're right! A generic troop doesn't equal meaningless. It's meaningful as it shows a % of what races/classes are capable of what.

So...there are a ton of orc demon hunters and dranei demon hunters, even though post legion, you dont see anything of the sort same for paladin high elves.
I get you like high elves, but that is a biased view to hold.

It's amazing to see that people were given an inch and now demand a Mile. They can't be satisfied with getting their fair skinned elves without playing Horde, no now they are demanding all of the blood elf customization plus Paladins? Next thing you know they'll be asking for blood elf characters to be deleted, actually I'm sure that's happened already actually.

Yes, but all the guts and shit is held by microwave walls, paladin bubble the same - problem solved! Sure, he might need to scrape shit off the bubble insides and somehow stick it all together before bubble dissipates, but that's what holy light is for!

This was explained long ago with the Deathknight who was wielding the light.
When you die, the energyin your body, light/void/fel also leave.
So when you turn someone into a DK, you're replacing that energy with death stuff.

So a Void elf DK doesn't have void energy in them, and a LF DK also doesn't have light infused in them anymore.
