Size shouldn't matter. It is how one uses the size.
Yeah, Azeroth is small.

Corpse runs in AC were fun, especially when you had no way of knowing exactly where you died.
Dunno about the scale but

Would like to see the Broken Isles here. I've seen some art but it feels a bit too small in my opinion. Is it that small ?

We are down at the bottom of the barrel arguing about pixels and map sizes now. Excellent.
A big world doesn't mean it's good. Plenty of games have large maps, that doesn't make it fun.
Typically however I have always preferred zones that were a bit more barren, though I think that stems from liking wide open spaces in real life.
They are actually all really small. They fit in both my PC and Laptop after all. (welcome to dumb comments being dumb).
We need now some artist to make an proportional map of Azeroth to settle this discussion.
Zul'Jin died for our sins.

My Loa are smiling at me infidel. can you say the same?
I see a lot of people complaining about northrend having too much open space. The open space makes the world actually feel like a world. The way they packed shit so tightly together in WoD and Legion zones is fucking awful.
THE POOL WAS COLD, SHRINKAGE, ITS LIKE A TURTLE!
