    Majority of them are just "if you've done X, Y will now do marginally more damage" and the other ones are mechanics that has already been in the game that they pruned.
    Most notably the arcane missiles/arcane charges, enhance shamans lava lash one and arms warrior getting Executioner's Precision back.. This is in no way innovative or even interesting if we're just going to get back what we've already lost.

    In what way have artifacts traits been anything else? As Havoc and Veng those traits seem better to me then 90% of the artifacts

    The azerite necklace is suppose to replace tier sets, artifact weps and legendaries.
    It currently does not do so even in the slightest.

    Why are we even settling for this when we know that they can do better?

    Because these are for low level leveling items. It's very obvious. They are basic, several are leveling zone themed, they don't impact rotation or ability usage. These are not end game Azerite traits. Blizzard devs have already almost explicitly told us this.

    And more boring passives. No new active abilities, bags of boring passives, at at least 4 procs that changes rotation. This, together with no sets, no legendaries (hated the legendary-grind, but not the items itself), no new talent row, ability-pruning and GCD on everything makes this game really so much more appealing in my eyes... /sarcasm

    And no, we will not get active abilites with it as we did with artefact weapons. Even worse, the artefact-abilities are mostly gone too.

    Man it will be such a hard hit for gameplay if I don't have to press Odyns Fure/Fury of the Illidari/Essence of G'hanir (which is baked in Flourish anyway)/that Prot warrior channel thingy anymore that do litterly nothing but some damage and don't really interact deeply with anything else...jeez

    The way they promoted Azerite equipment during Blizzcon was actual choices, not just AoE vs. ST. There is a clear cut best option when they do this.

    Still no real choice. The pieces they implemented for leveling atm also forsake one tier which is probably a good idea, since you won't keep em long enough anyway and there was no real choice or meaning to them anyway.

    You actually got one of the swamp things to spawn? I tried to whack stuff for 10 minutes with the trait on 2 pieces and didn't see it once.

    Most notably the arcane missiles/arcane charges, enhance shamans lava lash one and arms warrior getting Executioner's Precision back.. This is in no way innovative or even interesting if we're just going to get back what we've already lost.
    So, kind of like the old talent trees that many people seem to think added so much to the game?
