Two reasons I can come up with:

1.) Not one of the big names such as ASUS, EVGA, MSI.

2.) It's not factory OC'd at all. Same specs as a founders.

    Bonus Reason:

3.) Looks kinda plain. Not all "gamered" out. ie no red. No RGB etc.
I sat alone in the dark one night, tuning in by remote.
I found a preacher who spoke of the light, but there was Brimstone in his throat.
He'd show me the way, according to him, in return for my personal check.
I flipped my channel back to CNN and lit another cigarette.

    Is it not worth ordering?

I cant really afford to go higher so would mean going for a 1080, and not the ti

It's still a 1080 ti which means it's a lot better than a 1080, even a high end one. So I would get it over a 1080 any day of the week. Just don't expect to be breaking any OC'ing records with it.

Well the dude above covered it well enough.

Name thing aside - it is the plainest model they have, aside from founders edition. Cooler is basically at acceptable minimum level and is nothing to write home about and clocks are stock.

I seen some review for the better X3 model and even there cooling performance was merely adequate, so I imagine lower X2 model is barely even that.

I'd imagine the board itself is not custom either.

That said - you say you don't overclock, so it's fine. You don't really need any sort of better cooler or custom board if you don't OC and it is better than plain Founder's Edition model.

Alright thanks! Just ordered it, scary seeing £650 leave my account for games! D:

Despite it was already answered, its just one of those companies that do the smart move of saving money and getting rid of stock fast for multiple reasons, there is nothing to be afraid of.

Its literally the default card from nvidia, with a better cooler so its ~10C cooler which the watercoolers can abuse too since there is no custom PCB or backplate shenanigans to get in the way, its literal uncrew and screw for watercoolers, its all silicon lottery in the end either way.

The IChill version isnt that bad either way for the OC versions.

I cannot praise enough Inno3d products honestly.

They pass a lot of times unnoticed, but they are really good imho - the coolers are what makes the card worth. I used a GTX470 and it never went above 50 degrees with mild OC (it was an iChill version, so slightly OCed by default). It went perfectly for 7 years or so, then i bought a 960 (baaad choice, just a little more and i could have bought a 1070 before the shitstorm).

They are very good in terms of cooling perfomance - it's just that. You're going to keep it for quite a bunch of time.
