    Romeo and Juliet

ROMEO [To a Servingman] What lady is that, which doth
    enrich the hand
    Of yonder knight? 40

    Servant I know not, sir.

ROMEO O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
    Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear;
Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!
So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows,
As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.
The measure done, I'll watch her place of stand,
And, touching hers, make blessed my rude hand.
Did my heart love till now? forswear it, sight!
For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.

The thing about these plays is that they depend a lot on the actors to bring it to life. Even if you don't understand the words you get their meaning via the acting.

No, I don't go out of my way to see Shakespeare plays, but I've enjoyed one or two.

For me, Much Ado About Nothing, and to be honest the 1993 movie of it was great as well, while most film adaptations of Shakespeare's plays a lackluster at best, the cast really nailed it in that one.

Taming of the Shrew is a close second, I really enjoy the Bard's comedies even more so than his tragedies.

Keep meaning to read the Tempest.

I sort of liked Julius Caesar just because I'm a Roman history fanboy... but probably in overall quality, Macbeth.
