Do Mages have a self heal?

Fire mages do in Legion with cauterizing blink, which is absolutely amazing, but sadly its completely gone in BfA.

Again it just doesnt make sense after years of trying to make other specs more attractive
posters are right. Beta is full of frost mages, not even making it a Talent is just crazy.
for a lot of players this is the core of the negativity around BFA they seem to be just messing around
with Minor (but important) aspects of a spec for no reason at all.

I miss the times where evo was healing 100% of our hp

If you opt into war mode you can use temporal shield in world pve, probably gets disabled in dungeons/raids tho.

Fire mage blink heals, its reduced in PvP.

Evocation was 60% health regeneration in Mists of Pandaria with Evo Glyph and 10% with Invocation Talent but no cooldown. We also had Temporal Shield as a talent and Cold Snap. Now we have uh.. Temporal Shield as Honor talent and Cauterize which you can't rely on.
