Blood DK's in 3's?

I noticed that there is an unexpectedly high number of high rated blood DK's in 3's currently. I've been completely out of the arena scene for some time but I'm really dumbfounded by this; can someone with current experience explain why blood is competitive and what comp it is working with?

Dont know. Ran into one in 2s with a Resto. We killed the resto real quick but the BDK was unkillable.
