Yeah, had it been another breast cancer foundation like the Susan G Komen one I wouldn't have bought the skin, as much as I like it.

So how do you get the sprays? You just need to open a stream and literally let it roll for 6 hours? Fucking Twitch...

In case I'm not the only one who wouldn't have known this without warning, don't mute the stream or it won't count. Having it on minimal volume was still non-issue while I watched Netflix and played OW though, got all the things.

I.. Think? It's what I'm planning on doing, but why I need to run Twitch for 6 hours for B.net stuff is kinda pointless especially since I don't plan on even watching it

Oh that's nice to know, thanks man. Would explain why I didn't get the WoW title back in the day

To complement what some might have said, you may just open the stream and use the sound mixer to mute the window where the stream is opened. A friend of mine opened all the streams and went to bed : he had all the sprays unlocked when he woke up.

Just need to double check your Bnet account is linked to your twitch account though.

One of the mods on the OW reddit pinned a post to this announcement pointing out that several charity watchdog groups have given this charity high marks, so yes. It's a really good group.

You don't have to watch it all in one day, but you do need to watch for a total of 6 hours. Kinda neat that they are partnering with some streamers that would otherwise not get as much traffic. I liked the first one.

can tell that this is not true. i muted the sound, played twitch with 160p (bad connection causes high ping) and got all the sprays and icons.

bought the skin for myself and my sister. i like the extra sound effects you get from the skin, especially the one when you get a team member to full health.

Huh, interesting. I only watched ~4½ hours of a stream and I got all unlocks.

  14. #14
I had no issue with keeping my streams muted for a lot of the time I had it running and I've gotten the +6 hour sprays and I certainly didn't watch that unmuted.

Yeah muting definitely still counts. I think the confusion may be that you don't get all the rewards instantly so someone may have checked, not seen the rewards, and assumed muted didn't count.

I did 100% of my time muted and got everything. I muted right on the stream interface too, not the tab or my window's settings.

Hm it was actually a lot of people saying so in a comment thread, not just one confused person, but good to know in case of some other future viewing rewards.

atleast one of the streamers i was watching was donating all the money they were being given on the steam to the same foundation. they earned quite a lot!

  18. #18
Well I would hope they get the spine enough to do a Testicular Cancer one with Reignhardt.

    OW feels incomplete otherwise.

Think it was a requirement to be featured on the list that in the timeslot you had you'd donate everything you got to BCRF

    Thats a good sum then.

People dont seem to get how complicated cancer is and how much research costs. Even for one type of cancer that is "popular" to research
