Wanting to see what the best bang for my buck will be upgrade wise. I play at 1080 and wanting to upgrade to 144 hz monitor. I was looking to go with the CPU or GPU first along with probably adding another SSD

with that build I'd say the video card. If you have the cash a 1080 FTW2 is only 659.99 on Amazon. As for the rest of the build it looks good no real reason to upgrade anything else, maybe an H80i cooler for the CPU but thats it.

If your looking for a total rebuild Fascinate's build is solid if you can spare the extra cash the 1080 FTW2 rather than the 1060 would have you set for not only WoW and OverWatch any any other game you wanted to play at 144.

I second the 8600k over the 1600. The numbers don't lie, and for 65.00 its still an upgrade.
Disarm now correctly removes the targets’ arms.

Whoops i read that wrong, i didnt realize that was your current build. The biggest performance improvement for WoW is going to be an overclocked intel CPU so your looking at about 350 bucks for cpu/mobo. Aside from that there is no reason to touch anything, a rx 580 is plenty and then some for WoW and OW even if you get a 144hz monitor down the road.

This is the monitor id roll with, viewsonic makes quality panels for the money

Nvm i guess amd added borderless windowed support to freesync with a driver update:

There is 0 reason to upgrade anything in your PC apart from getting a second SSD, either 250 or 512GB as game storage for faster loading times.

At least for the games you play.

Wait till after summer, those Nvidia cards will eventually launch sometime in or after summer, and your RX 580 is more than enough for Overwatch.

if you really wanted to upgrade, all I would upgrade is your cpu to the Ryzen Gen 2, no need to spend extra money on replacing the mobo as well
