i remember the time when poc were the tokens in movies and tv shows. guess now its time for lqbt folks. personally i dont really care much about it but it seems to be happening in almost every tv show or movie nowadays. the trouble is, imo, they dont really focus in most cases on the story but about the sexuality: look guys we have a black lesbian transexual. we are so progressive. atleast give the character a good story for crying out loud.

Do they have a bunch of scenes with him banging everything in sight? or does he casually mention it somewhere? otherwise who gives a fuck. Its just thrown in for no reason otherwise to tick a box? This goes for any sexuality , if its not in the movie i dont care.

AFAIK its not likely to be addressed in the movie, its just the persons head cannon for the character. So, this seems more a case of virtue signaling.

Pansexuality doesn't even make sense in the context of scifi. What about interspecies? Or being attracted to robots? Are those aspects counted? How can a term applied to only humans count in a scenario like this? It just makes no sense. Lando ended up in a perfectly happy marriage. Both him and his wife found their true calling, ''manufacturing Terminator like deadbots who specifically throw one-liners in Billy Dee William voice''.
As post 19 said, Lando and most ''spacers'' males in the Galaxy are pansexual, since attraction for Twi'lek females is nearly universal.
