Heart of Azerite Traits concerns for ele

So I would love to get some input on the way that azerite traits look like they will interact with the spec. It really seems like spell weaving will play a major role in Elemental in Battle For Azeroth. Hard to tell for me though because I am not really a theorycrafter of any sort. For example Volcanic Lightning and lava shock. Also considering Icefury paired with master of the elements getting buffed during the tuning passes and also keep in mind exposed elements. Not saying all of these will be paired together but with all of this buff weaving to micro manage it seems like ele may fall victim to be the next "lot of work, for not a lot reward" spec.
What are your thoughts?

The few pieces of Azerite gear I have seen appear to give more passive dmg options as well(dots/puddles, more like NLC procs and the FS dot buffing ES one is pretty passive as well), so it remains to be seen what will be better after tuning(once we know what talents are "good").
