There are no pvp vendors. And you only get gear from rated battlegrounds.

That is blizzards way to say "fuck you matchmade pvp players.".

That is simply not true. You get gear from earning conquest doing almost any pvp activity. In fact, the gear acquisition is linear, so you'll get a full set, and you'll know which piece you get next. Once you finish earning a certain type of gear, you'll move on to the next tier of gear.

Ion Hazzikostas tweeted recently, that you get conquest points from rated content. And you will ONLY get conquest points from a weekly event in none-rated content, which means you have a low cap on conquest points you could achieve from any none-rated activity.

Which means that playing none-rated battlegrounds is not going to give you enough currency to obtain gear in a useful fashion.

If you, for example, get 50 conquest points for a weekly event, and need 1000 points for gear, think about how many weeks you would need to obtain a single part of gear.

Casuals have nothing to do with this. This is a typical reaction of your average MMO-C user, someone who has cleared Mythic every patch even though they quit in 2009, when WoW was at it's greatest, to concentrate on their game developer career. Casuals actually like the game.

In which way is it ignorant, as i just write about facts?

1.) There will be no pvp vendors. You get gear after you filled a conquest point bar. Automatically. And you cant chose which item you want to get.
2.) There will be no way to farm conquest points in matchmade battlegrounds. You only get them playing those in a weekly event. Which is not enough to give an incentive to play matchmade battlegrounds.

Both statements are true. So if you want to "slaughter" me, come up with better arguments.

What reality?

Reality is, there are no PvP vendors and no way to get a decent amount of Conquest from casual play.

Torish is usually sorta dumb, but in this case hes dead on.

There STILL no incentive to PvP for most people.
