Initial reports from people who got it early and played it are above expectations. Seems to be really, really hard, way harder than any From game so far, hp seems very low, parry is a must, and the game/area size reports are also obsolete.

We may have another Bloodborne on our hands. 1 more day lads.

Im not gutted or anything. I like that this game will be a challenge. I will die twice thats for sure.
I wonder if theres folks that never even noticed the 'from parry telegraph' of "its the moment the limb/weapon begins to arc in to your character" guaranteed parry window thats in all their games. I was guilty of it in my first Hollow Knight playthrough but these twitchy reactive mechanics only show up in games where theres an animation to learn that makes it obvious over time. I remember playing demons back in the day and noticing the whole "okay human enemy raised weapon upppp and theres the height of the arc, down it starts, hit parry and bam!" deal and it was like seeing the code in the matrix when everything that did it became inconsequential compared to the usual caster bullshit

Case in point, parrying was easier in Bloodborne than in Souls games

Then again, I'm apparently in the minority that thinks Bloodborne is easier than every Souls game except Dark Souls 3

Uggh I really hope this game isn't stupidly punishing. I enjoy a challenge, but I also enjoy being able to just have fun. Been waiting for a good Ninja game for years since the last Tenchu and Ninja Gaiden games.

Nah, I play DS3 often nowadays and played through Demon's Souls a lot back on PS3. It just sounded like people were saying the Sekiro was made to be even harder than them. Which even those games at points become frustrating more than fun as a challenge.

If you haven't you should check out NioH.

With that said I honestly don't expect Sekiro to be any harder then BB and even if it is you will have the tools you need to deal with it.

Ladies and gentlemen we are on the eve of greatness.

    Cant you feel it?

Glad I got my pre-order in early and will be getting that very tasty steel case. Artwork on it looks sick.

Also get some beads for a bracelet. Winning.

Do we get anything by preordering? Cause I'll probably buy it on release.
