I am still mad at the police for that speeding ticket I got 3 years ago, so now I drive under the speed limit and sometimes pull long traffic behind me cause they can't get past.
Thank you police. I will try my best to not drive over speed limits again. So far so good.

I speed quite often, and I expect that eventually I might get pulled over for it. Will I get a ticket? probably. Will I be upset? No because I was speeding.

People need to be responsible for their actions. I'm not mad at the policeman, he was just doing his job.

It's almost like that if you act like a normal human being who respects the laws of your region, rather than pretending to be (or actually being) a dipshit moron, life will be just dandy for you in the vast, vast, vast majority of cases.

But hey, it's everyone's fault by yours, man. Fight the good fight! You can do whatever you want without consequence! Power to the people, yo!

    Bullshit.

The vast majority of the former are because "I got a ticket and I'm mad about it," with minorities whining and crying that it had to be due to their race rather than doing something to get them pulled over (or whatever the case may be).

Neither of which are really present in "I got a ticket and I'm mad about it" situations. (Unless they claim they ONLY got a ticket because of discrimination. But those cases are easily disproven by, say, a measure of speed. Which are nearly required in this case to ensure a ticket is backed by a court, as it's rather easy to contest any ticket as long as you can take a day off work to do so.)
This thread is litteraly about things like tickets......

    And they do.

But those same people still whine, bitch, and twitter away even after they get busted for making their bullshit up.

You're fucking wrong. Deal with it. Stop being a dick and/or breaking the law, and you'll be just fine. Just like the 99.99999999% of the populace who does the same thing.

People get mad at people working in retail doing their job too. Or at the person taking your order at McDonalds.

    People are jerks.

My personal dislike of police doesn't stem from enforcement of laws, but from the enforcement of obviously bogus laws in an arrogant fashion. While many speed zones are a perfectly legitimate means of improving traffic safety, there are also deliberately confusing speed zones (particularly in rural areas) that are intended to bait people unfamiliar with local idiosyncrasies into speeding. Creating an arbitrary, short stretch of 35 MPH zoned road where it looks exactly the same as the surrounding 55 MPH zone is a great example of that. Get a ticket there and you'll have no recourse - the zone is that way to drive revenue, it's a feature, not a bug.

Get one of those tickets from a cop that's condescending about "safety", experience the revenue-mill that are the sham courts that exist in rural towns, and you too might come away with less "hey, they're just enforcing the laws".

My attitude when I lived in a rural area was a lot different than cities though. Police where I came from were pathetic, bullying pissants. Police where I live now have a sometimes difficult job and do a great job of staying friendly with the community.

And yet, every day, hundreds of millions of people manage to survive those "evil pigs" hunting down miniorities and the poor. How can this possibly be, other than -- you know -- those "evil pigs" being absolutely shitty at their secret genocidal agenda that only they -- and you, of course -- know about?

I mean, if the courts, military, and entire government is in on it, it fully explains how they're able to easily hide their concentration camps and shit. Sure, they can't even keep the story of the president fucking a porn star secret, but that's because the Illuminati don't give two shits about porn fuckers, only the genocide of minorities and the poor! Yeah man, yeah!

I'm more upset by the fact I have to bother dealing with rent-a-cops with less training than a hairdresser.

Everyone goes over the speed limit on the highway. If you get pulled over for going 5 MPH over the limit just state that the speedometer may have been slightly miss calibrated. The best way to drive is by following the speed of your surrounding traffic.

Actually if your going the exact speed limit or under and there is no traffic people will honk you and cut in front causing a hazardous situation (Provided there is no traffic)

As much as people criticize the police for not letting them flagrantly break the law at the expense of others, most people would agree we're better off with them than without them.

For every deserved criticism they get when they abuse their power they should also get compliments for doing their jobs correctly, but that usually doesn't happen. Instead we mostly just get...
