No, the thought of losing money i have worked hard for makes me ill. The most I will do is a few £'s on the National Lottery.

Mostly online (poker), but I also sometimes visit the local casino and play poker/roulette.

Nope and never will.. I had an ex who has serious gambling issues and needless to say he stole my cards and it took years to get rid of the debt and the hurt.
It can be like a drug in the wrong hands... turns a great person into a monster sometimes.

I have never gambled in a casino, only played the game for fun with family or friends without the money.

I have in the past, but haven't been to a casino in several years. I've only ever played poker at a casino, $200 buy-in hold'em cash game with $1/$2 blinds. Used to play in a weekly game with friends also ($10 buy in tournament).

In general I don't like gambling, but I don't consider poker for money gambling...

You can only gamble on cruise ships or online here i only play the slot machines when im bored if im on a cruise.

I have been to the casino once for a friends bachelor party, but that is it. I actually made a few hundred playing poker, but the idea of games of pure chance really turns me off.

The main gambling I am familiar with is sports betting. It is huge around here, but we are not allowed casinos. I have seen some friends get pretty deep into sports bookies.
I still contemplate going back to online poker and giving up on all this MMO stuff. That is what I did before getting hooked on WoW several years ago. At least I could make money while playing instead of paying for it. In the end, that element of chance and the bad beats just made gambling way too stressful. I say that and continue to bang my head on the keyboard doing random BGs

Yessir, I go to Las Vegas with some buddies every 3-4 months just for the hell of it, always a good time, win some and lose some, money is just money.

no i dont. I know i am a unlucky devil when i comes to games, bets or gambles dempending mostly on luck. Dunno why
.... a guildy i always play wow with always gets the rare stuff.. mounts pets or rare Drops.. she is well known in my guild and partly on the whole realm for her insane luck.

I lose at games all the time too. (exept those wich require strategy or intellect). But i am the undefeatable King at Yazee and Monopoly.

So the answere is no i would lose anyway and i cherich what i have and not what i might get.

There was only one exception where I had great chances of winning big and that was two years ago.

My one and so far only experience with gambling: In New Mexico over Christmas my family went to an Indian casino/hotel (mostly because one of my cousins wanted to visit the gift shop) My other cousin and I went into the casino. We stopped by the slot machines and he tried convincing me to play. I said "what the hell, I've got a dollar I can burn"... so I put the dollar in the machine, hit the button, and won $25 I decided that there was my lucky streak and immediately went to cash out while I was still ahead. My cousin also wound up winning some money as well, but he had to play roulette for about an hour to come out about $10 ahead of where he started.

Nope. I don't like the fact that statistically speaking I've already lost money when I make the bet. In the casino's in Helsinki the poker tables almost definitely have players that are more skilled than me.

I like playing card games for money with my friends though.

Not something I enjoy casino gambling the least. I've never been to a casino that doesn't reek. Every single one I've been to in Vegas over the last 15 years smells like it has decades of cigarette butts and old sweat caked into the walls(the new, high-end ones in Vegas are an exception to this).

I've been able to break even or come out ahead most times I've gone and played; but that is just pure luck. I'd rather take that same money and buy a really great meal or spend it on some component for my bike.
