Warcract Map Concepts - Which would you like as the second Warcraft map?

Alterec Pass looks absolutely awesome and is pretty much everything I wanted as a Wow player who has played since Vanilla. However, all the other franchises have 2 so surely we are getting another one around Blizzcon. What area/events would you like to see?

I made these concepts for PGR: https://www.progamerreview.com/top-1...-we-want-hots/

For those that don't want to bother to read the actual concepts here are the overall ideas.

    -Warsong Gulch
    -Culling of Stratholme
    -Icecrown & Azjol Nerub
    -The Dark Portal
    -Elwynn Forest & Westfall
    -Ahn'Qiraj
    -War of the Ancients
    -Outland
    -The Cataclysm
    -The Troll Wars

Throw your concepts in there, let us see what you got!
We humans have to stick together

WSG would be prime, a CTF map has huge potential in HotS. However it would need some tweaks:

    1) Single flag, instead of one per side. The WoW WSG usually ends up with a bunch of turtling esp in PuGs, as each side grabs the flag then entrenches for minutes on end. Fighting over a single flag spawning in middle ground would be much more dynamic and interactive

    2) Flags only capturable if no enemies present. Imagine a merc cap point inside a Volskya control zone. The cap point only activates if you control the zone uncontested. Puts the focus further on actually fighting instead of just legging it back for a quick cap, as you will also need to defeat the enemy team to cap it. HotS is all about the action!

    3) Holding a flag makes you unable to move faster than 100% move speed, and prohibits dashes/teleports etc. This one is pretty obvious. No-one wants to see a Genji grab a flag from the middle of a fight then jump over a wall and book it to the point while you can't do squat to stop him. The old lvl39 pre-mount WSGs sucked because it was full of druids running the flags in travel form while powershifting to clear snares and it was so frustratingly hard to lock them down. Let's not see anything like that.

The most obvious to me would be Southshore vs Tarren Mill.

I would love to see a Karazahn map but think it would be more of a theme map than anything.

It would be very interesting though to see it made as an “indoor” map. That’s something HOTS has never tried.

Tomb of the Spider Queen is indoor.

Honestly, that by itself makes me feel like CTF is better served as a brawl, rather than a new map.

You have stuff like Helping Hand/Into the Fray to worry about. Sonya has her spear, which is fine by itself but might not be fine once she picks up Mythical Spear. Diablo's Q should be fine, even if he gets to flip people in front of him but what about Illidan's Dive? It's a similar mechanic to Shadow Charge but he has Friend or Foe, which'd make it just as bad as something like Li-mings's teleport. At the same time, you can't really deny a hero the use of 2 of his basic abilities and possibly both of his ult's. Cosidering The Hunt could be used on a minion to get safe and hold back the flag, only to sneak in a cap later. While Meta makes him invulnerable for a while and does kinda offer mobility. Varian runs into a very similar problem, at 10 he can pick Warbringer, which offers a ton of mobility for him. Then you also have stuff like Divine Shield, Crystal Aegis and Vanish.

I agree that mechanics like this made WSG terrible but there are so many mechanics from heroes that you have to keep in mind, just for the sake of a single map. Seems easier to just make it a brawl so you don't even have to worry about minions and building and stuff. They could also vet the hero pool to prevent heroes like Genji or Anub from being able to be picked. Granted that the roster of heroes that'd be left would be considerably smaller.
