I disagree, particularly on this issue. I think this is so black and white that if Trump supporters want to choose this hill to die on, they're in for quite the bruising.

This strikes at the very essence of what being human is. THe only way to fight them is to make them fight on too many fronts that they can't respond. By not, you cede the podium too them.

I'm well aware Trump's cult isn't actually debatable. But that also isn't the point.

I am not convinced. Trump's supporters have already redefined so many formerly unacceptable things and will likely happen with this as well. So many times did we think that policy X would be the end of the line, but there no longer is one. Heck, Trump could put those kids on the Hunger Games and it wouldn't change much.
