Everyone tosses out that crap, yet I'm sure I can link to the same studies I've read that show that immigrants are less likely to commit crimes. After all, they don't, especially illegal immigrants, want to be tossed out. Second-generation are even less likely, though, as the generations assimilate, crime becomes more likely.

In short, if you're born here you're more likely to commit crimes than those who came here later. So, no, I don't feel safer knowing that prepubescent children are being locked in cages like dogs.

Again, there is nothing wrong with having immigration policies and deporting those here illegally. I am not against deportation. I am against families being chopped up and held in inhumane conditions. You can have the policies and the deportation without the cruelty. This is not an all-or-nothing situation.
