Is there a list somewhere of what "beneficial effects" it removes from players in PvP?

How does it choose which one it removes, or is it random?

I tried Googling and didn't get anywhere. Other than it removes stealth...

It's random. I don't have a complete and comprehensive list for you, but at minimum it works on the following:

- Bloodlust
- Arcane Power
- Combustion
- Icy Veins
- Displacement
- Hot Streak
- Arcane Intellect
- Temporal Shield
- Cauterising Blink (gone but back as a trait, presumably follows same rules)
- Ice Barrier/Blazing Barrier/Prismatic Barrier

- Ghost Wolf
- Elemental Healing (if that still exists)
- Tidal waves
- Riptide

- Power Word: Shield
- Power Word: Fortitude
- Renew
- Holy Ward

- Blessing of Freedom
- Blessing of Protection

arcane torrent is useless, outside of the resource generation it has no use anymore and is on the gcd so its barely worth even using for resource generation

Silencing a single opponent is still cancerous in PvP where it was only ever used to silence healers anyway.

I agree. Problem with it is it was AoE. There should be no AoE racials. They are just far too OP and easy to abuse.

I mean in BFA the majority of the trash packs now has shields / magic stuffs so it will still be super strong in dungeons.
There are also less big caster packs like i have not seen a single trash pack like for example the court of stars imps.

As for which abilities it removes its random.

It may not be OP as it once was, but it still has a lot of uses in M+ : a lot of trash have Magic buffs that can be purged. Another example is Zul (Uldir), the small adds can be instantly killed with it.
Aside of that, extra ressources on demand is always welcomed.

The old one was a mass interrupt + silence. It was really good on trash such as CoS imps, Cathedral, etc.
In BFA, there's a lot of trash with dispellable/stealable buffs (Atal'tazar golem has a buff which increases dmg done).

Pretty big gap between "overpowered" and "not even worth putting on your bars".
They should've given it to everyone via talents. Racials should just work like some form of talents, 1 active 3 passives.

Arcane torrent was fun and added a lot of depth to the game, everyone should have access to it.

Don't know, offensive AoE dispel in PvP as racial still sounds pretty damn big. Dispelling BoP is not a small thing.
