    It's the adds.

Install a browser addon like u-block origin

Nope. You seeing a lot of adds when you open MMO Champ? That could be why. I see no adds.

Should probably have posted this in the computer forum. It's likely ADs or a browser extension not working properly with the website.

When MMO champ eats TWENTY percent of your CPU usage, it's time to throw your PC in the trash bin where it belongs, set it on fire and then throw it out of the window.

"It's the adds" is not a valid excuse

Firefox latest version, this problem started 2 days ago, with no change to the browser, so it must be on MMOChamp side, I just hope it's not some website miner.

It might be the advertising, but we're continually told that that isn't allowed here. I dunno what to tell ya.

Yeah it is. The only other sites that eat up that much space are Russian scam sites.

Sure, if you have a $2000+ comp you'll be fine....guess what dipshit, most people don't.

No, I am fine with an "old" laptop. But gratz on your first post here insulting people
Of course it is with an adblock and being a premium members. I'm sure content creators appreciate you no longer giving them the pittance they earn from ads, so you can subsidize a fucking shit parasite like MMO champion.

Yea, no way i'd ever browse MMOC without some sort of ad block. It's fucking cancerous.

Try disabling JavaScript and check the CPU usage again. Might be some poorly written scripts.

I remember having a problem with it Years ago due to ads clogging everything, adblockers helped a lot. Mmoc doesn't do the decent thing and control its adware, leaving us to take care of it individually

It's not a Javascript problem since the problem exist only on MMOC.
