Blizz removing fun from everything

Never really understood why they needed to make toys have a super long recharge time. Coin of many faces has a 24 hour recharge time, that’s kinda ridiculous. Plenty of 1hr, 30m, 15m ones as well. Seems like a really pointless thing to slap onto toys.

But yeah blizzard does stuff like this fairly often. The Amani war bear was recently updated for no reason. Should never update unobtainable models imo especially when there’s an obtainable model that can be updated. There’s a reason MoP challenge modes, Corrupted ashbringer, benediction/anethema etc haven’t been updated, same reason should apply to the bear.

Some changes might be accidental but honestly they do stuff like this a lot so I wouldn’t really think it is.

Cause if you can use the disgusting oozling to make the much easier to get red mount, into an almost exact replica of the green mount, then you are cheating the system.
I dont beleive it, but blizzard has done worse.

How are you “cheating the system” by riding around on a green bird? Also, what prevented them from making the achievement mount a completely different color and not changing anything else? It’s a dumb theory.

No you're of course right, they were indeed out to get you. The Blizzard No Fun(tm) team has been monitoring your use of that mount and they determined you rank way above Normal Happiness Curve, when you're using it - so they took action swiftly and brought you back to Blizzard Average Happiness(r) again.

They had a cup of coffee and celebrated this victory silently and sensibly (as to not break the Corporate Happiness Standard(c)).

Except blizzard has done stuff liek this many times in the past, soulshards, odd polished orb, tabard of the lightbringer, haunted memento.
Invisible to anyone but you, no longer works on mount, literally just a sparkle instead of a beam of light, spawns a minion for 15 seconds every ten minutes instead of constantly.

They allready had a green firehawk, but maybe i dont liek to beleive those kinda things but it makes sense, the red fire hawks could become pretty much replicas of the green ones with this pet, the green ones becoming super dark if you use the pet.

the new felfire hawk is the ground only fire hawk mount. not the flying one. it's for 400 mounts. what this dude says kinda makes sense except why didn't they do that before with the flying felfire hawk?

Sadly OP, it doesn't surprise me. I figured they would go in the same direction when they removed the shadowform effects from your mount.

The pet/mount thing I understand to an extent, but I don't get the outrage over other people not being able to see soulshards. I have a lock, with that glyph, and I couldn't care less if other people see them. I use that glyph so that I can see them.

so for example if transmog showed to no one but yourself that you would be fine with aswell? or if everyone rode on gryphons or horses to everyone but themselves, only themselves able to see the mount they are riding? That would be fine?
