Troll feral/guardian druid mythic+ and pvp

Hey! May I ask for an advice?

Thinking of boosting a troll feral/guardian druid for mythic+ and pvp(battlegrounds and casual arena =<2k). Is that a mistake?

For the record: Been playing warrior for many years (since 2007 lol) but I am going to spend some time for the horde now. Tried all other (mellee) classes and druid seems to be the best fit for me in terms of feeling. What are the noticeable downsides?

there not top tier in dps at all atm, bear is boring but solid as tanks go basically unchanged for bfa. jungle cleave works very well as S tier pop so for that purpose rock on.
