Do you have to do the Battle of Lordaeron scenario to access BFA content?

Title, will I be able to go to Zandalar/Kul'Tiras if I haven't done the scenario with my character?

I haven't been able to find an answer and some people seem to suggest that I wont.

No, you need Battle of Lordaeron finished.

    You need to do:
    - battle for Lordaeron scenario
    - Magni's Heart of Azeroth short quest/scenario
    - SW escape (Horde) and the equivalent scenario that will take you directly to Zandalar/Kul Tiras

You won't get the HoA quest before 00:00 CEST, worldwide. Since the Zandalar/KT scenarios have doing that as a prereq...

The Battle of Lordaeron scenario only needs to be finished with one character. If you've done it once, you can skip it by talking to the npc next to Mathias Shaw (or the horde counterpart) that sends you to go to the scenario.

I had to test it my self by doing the second part of darkshore on another character, since it wasn't skippable. Turns out the BFL scenario is and the Darkshore thing probably goes away tomorrow.
