Where is the Nightborne?

In most of the cinematics we have seen a presence for some of the allied races for the alliance, Alleria. Nothing about the nightborne tho, almost as if they completely forgot about them?

Did I miss something? Is there a reason they aren't around?

No, not really. The void elf bit with Alleria is the only thing.


Highmountains, nowhere to be seen, Lightforged as well :P So yeah, I guess it's because Alleria is a direct part of the group that confronts Sylvanas that we get to see void elves at all.

They will probably show up more later on, at least I hope so.

They show up in BfA they have Questhubs and are at least for the horde they are part of the scenario (rescueing Saurfang) to get into BfA.

They are back in Quel'thalas. Improving defenses getting familiar with the land. Whoever dares to defile Eversong will meet a quick death! You wont even see where our arrows came from! For the Glory of Quel'thalas!

Alleria isn't in the cinematics simply because she is a void elf, she is in them because she is a hugely important character who also just so happens to be Sylvanas' sister.

Technicly you could say the whole thing with the Nightborne, HM Tauren, Void Elves, and Lf Draenei hasn't happened yet. THey are early access for a reason So maybe at the time of the Battle For Lordaeron, they haven't joined just yet.

Correct. Plot chronology has little to do with early access, the recruitment scenarios take place just after Argus (the planet) disappears from the sky. Because some players arrived at this point earlier than others by defeating Argus the Unmaker quickly, the point in time is set precisely when the planet disappeared from the sky for all characters, regardless of whether or not they had completed the boss kill. This is prior to Magni's discovery in Silithus, that event was activated after the embassy and recruitment scenarios were activated.

The only Allied Races that have not yet canonically joined their respective factions are the Dark Iron Dwarves and Kul'Tiran Humans for the Alliance, and the Mag'har Orcs and Zandalari Trolls for the Horde.
