BfA Patch Speculation thread (8.3 and later).

Why no 120 talents? If they come up with new abilities, some classes might not feel like they need those abilities and they are more filler. Changes to the talent system as a whole will be something for a whole expansion but they will be continue to have talent tuning for the rest of Battle for Azeroth.

I hope this implies at least an early planning for a talent rework in 9.0

Well if this leak is true the most interesting part is the one about 8.3 which basically means it won't be about N'zoth because everybody expects exactly that.

The infodump is incredibly likely to just be patch notes, dont expect something like the class blogs for legion.

I don't get why people are so surprised about this.

They confirmed this almost every time they talked about 8.2...

When people started spreading this around I assumed Blizz confirmed flying in the new zones by default. Not sure why people are surprised, I guess because Blizz didn't add flying to Argus?

Was it confirmed to be an infodump stream? I assumed it was just a blog post (probably just patch notes, wow I'm agreeing with Pepe) since Ion said their next Q&A wouldn't be for a few weeks.

Megadoubt that. An info dump with text on their site would reach more than a twitch stream

and yes as alodi posted all they covered in that stream for 8.1 has been covered for 8.2 at blizzcon.

Because it was already announced at Blizzcon.

Fans don't like to be told the same thing twice. Blizz has managed to shoot themselves in the foot doing that more than once. There was one recent Blizzcon where they just recapped the last patch and everyone rioted.

You could argue "well maybe they'll have videos of the zones" but more likely the only stuff players want are

A. What's changing (AKA patch notes)

B. Gameplay (AKA PTR to open)
