Calia + Worgen AR don't look like they'll have anything to do with either Uldum or Pandaria, so I think they won't be associated with rep grinds. Probably just have to buy the preorder or finish the raid.

Sylvanas and Nathanos left both the Forsaken and the Horde. Other than Voss, Faranell, Belmont, Helcular and the other minor-named characters to choose from, who else is going to lead the Forsaken now? Unless they reform the Desolate Council again and not have to worry about getting wiped out like the one at Arathi did. And don't forget that some of them are still loyal to Sylvanas; I suspect not everyone is going to be on board with the idea of making Calia their leader.

I actually think there's a decent chance we'll see them reform the Desolate Council, lead by Calia, Voss, and Daelin. Maybe they could even relocate to Theramore and rebuild it. Dustwallow would make an appropriately moody home for the undead.

Your possible reason doesn't make much sense, though - the Alpacas might not be finished now, but it looks like they will come with 8.3 anyway, so they could be used as a Vulpera AR mount if Blizzard wanted it.

The PTR just dropped today. Give it time. For all we know there are still story details they're keeping under wraps and encrypted like the War Campaign finale. I'd rather have them take their time than dropping it rushed and unfinished.

Their hearthstone is also set there.

I don't think so. There's room for two more on the menu.

They're likely related to 9.0 moreso than either of these: see Calia and a Worgen-new species that will likely come from Dragon isles.
