Battle for Azeroth Professions Overview
As with any expansion, Battle for Azeroth offers a variety of new recipes and items to craft or gather.

• Kul Tiran and Zandalari Professions are now available to learn and level!
• Each profession is separated into expansions and leveled separately from one another.
• Each expansion has its own leveling path for items from that expansion, similar to the Mists of Pandaria cooking.
• You can choose to go back and level older expansion crafting, or you can simply level the current expansion.
• This allows you to craft items with current expansion materials without needing older expansion materials to level.
• You can still go back and level older expansion crafting skills as well.
• To clarify further, an example of this means that you can level your "Cataclysm Tailoring" by crafting Cataclysm patterns, but this doesn't stop you from progressing your "Kul Tiran / Zandalari Tailoring" with the new expansion's patterns.
• First Aid is gone and its patterns are redistributed into Tailoring and Alchemy. Your First Aid crafts will have to be relearned in their respective new profession.

New Bind on Pickup Rare Crafting Reagent
Battle for Azeroth Professions will carry on with the Blood of Sargeras and Obliterum system that was implemented in Legion. There are three new bind on pickup reagents that are utilized in crafting this time around.

• Expulsom - Recovered from breaking down gear in the Scrapper, Battle for Azeroth's rendition of the Obliterum Forge. You can also receive it from certain transmutes.
• Hydrocore - Looted from Battle for Azeroth dungeons.
• Sanguicell - Looted from Battle for Azeroth raids.

The Scrapper
The Scrapper is the new Obliterum Forge in Battle for Azeroth. There has been a significant change, however, in that you can now scrap all equipable gear for crafting reagents that correspond to the item. This is also the main source of Expulsom.

• New Alchemy Trinkets - Siren's Alchemist Stone and Surging Alchemist Stone.
• Can craft the following follower equipment - Potion of Herb Tracking.

Blacksmithing

• Can craft the following follower equipment - Magnetic Mining Pick, Platinum Whetstone, and Storm Silver Spurs.
• Can craft a new item, Khaz'gorian Hammer, which when held has a chance to grant the "indestructible" property to any crafting blacksmithing gear. It also allows you to instantly repair all of your equipment once every hour.

Enchanting

• Weapon enchants have made a return.
• New craftable battle pet - Enchanted Tiki Mask.
• New bracer enchants that can only be used by the enchanter which grants either a 5 min reduction to hearth cooldown, faster hearting, or a damage absorb when hearthing while in Kul Tiras or Zandalar.

Engineering

• New craftable mount - Mecha-Mogul Mk2.
• Can craft the following follower equipment - Makeshift Azerite Detector and Monelite Fish Finder.

Inscription

• Can craft contracts with Battle for Azeroth reputations that give a specific reputation based on the contract by completing Battle for Azeroth world quests.
• Can craft new glyphs that turn a druid's aquatic form into one of two dolphins - Glyph of the Dolphin or Glyph of the Tideskipper.
• Can craft a new glyph to let druid return their flight form to the non-epic version - Glyph of the Humble Flyer.
• Can craft the following follower equipment - Crimson Ink Well.

Jewelcrafting

• Can craft a gem that gives 5% experience - Insightful Rubellite.

Leatherworking

• Can craft a 32 slot bag - Embroidered Deep Sea Bag.

• New cloak spellthreads for all cloaks - Discreet Spellthread, Feathery Spellthread, and Resilient Spellthread.
• Can craft the following follower equipment - Rough-hooked Tidespray Linen.
