Frost mage leveling talent choice ?

I plan on leveling up my mage alt this weekend as frost. What did you guys find the best talents to level up in? Splitting Ice or Comet Storm? No pet or pet? etc.

I also plan on having war mode turned on ... I was thinking the best talents for leveling would be targeted frozen orb placement, chance on chilling to freeze, and frostbolt doing increased damage to frozen targets.

Comet storm by far. Comet storm immediately into a pet nova to shatter it. Add in an ice orb and you're talking serious damage (spec the orb pvp talent).

I would run around mounted, aggro as many things as I could, ice block so they massed up near me, nova, blink and repeat above. Wipe out huge packs of mobs.
