Conquest Point System - This is insanity

So i made another thread and deleted it in the end because i thought a Epic BG gave 65 conquest points daily
BUT IT DOESN'T
The 65 CP is weekly

So lets see what a player needs to do to reach the weekly cap EVERYDAY if it isn't a Pvp Brawl week and you dont do arenas.

Normal BG - 40 CP (280 weekly)
Weekly Epic BG - 65 CP
Daily Epic BG - 15 CP (90 weekly)
Skirmish daily - 15 CP (105 weekly)

280 + 65 + 90 + 105 = 540

If it isn't a PvP Brawl week you need to do religiously everyday until you win
1)Normal BG
2)Epic BG
3)Skirmish

You can only skip 1 normal BG the entire week.
This is insanity.
Considering it just took me 2 hours to do the Normal BG win of the day...and im still missing the Epic BG and Skirmish which could take me more hours depending on luck.

The pressure on your gameplay session of the day is insane.
You need to win.
Everyday
The entire week
If you dont win you get nothing.

This puts an insane pressure on you and your gameplay session.

I know there is other daily PvP activities (World PvP)
But if we add that on top of what we already need to do daily...we are talking insane hours of gameplay daily.
Probably 4 hours per day...maybe even 5 hours per day.

Easy solution: Reduce the weekly cap

This will put less pressure on us :S

Its more like 50 wins. You get 10 conquest per win in 2v2 now. Totally ridicolous (Unless it has changed from the weekend)

I didnt want to have friends on my alt...

You don't need friends, you find them in the LFG tool. Play a couple matches, ditch them when you notice they suck more than you, keep going untill you're capped. And who knows, perhaps you even get to 1.8k rating and unlock the Elite tmog.

Just do 2's with a friend, seems to go pretty fast and getting 340+ ilvl pieces left and right. And we only got to 1400 rating

LOL HAHA after first win of the day 2v2 arena grants 10 conquest per win. If you enjoy doing 47 arena to cap every Tuesday, go for it.

Yeah I would like to know that too, because 50 wins for one item is absurd. That would mean you need to win 750 2400+ arenas to have the best PVP gear.

you do know you get conquest from matches after your first right?
so you really can just spam them and get conquest pretty quick.
also world pvp gives abit of conquest so there is that
i am shit at pvp, have not reached 2k since wotlk, and even then it was me getting carried.
yet i got capped days ago.

also yes 2v2 is 10, but 3v3 is 50, so you literally just win 10 3v3's and your done

After 50 wins you'd have a ton of gear btw. It's not just the item from Conq Cap.

Today I got a total of 19 pieces from doing one hour of 3v3, 6 of them 340+, AND the 345 weapon from Conq Cap (so in reality 20 pieces after one hour). Almost tempted to go enchanting just to be able to DE all the gear I get from arena.

Don't cap, why bother? That is where you get the guaranteed gear at is by capping. Sure, pvp can be fun, but with their new system, you either run raids to get geared, or rated pvp to get geared. Its not a great system for actually obtaining gear to stay competitive.

Hi there,

There are alot of other conquest sources too, like loot box drops in zones and bounties.. In one evening a friend and I did our 10 arena wins for the week (i dont know if thats still a thing, but im a WOTLK baby). We did some world PVP and a couple of brawls...Bounties.... OH! and the pvp quests! one for killing one horde player in warmode, another for killing 10? super easy !

I think blizzard just really wants tyo encourage people get out in the world, and contribute to world PVP, which has been super fun IMO.

Long story short, theres a TON of easy ways to get conquest capped. I was honestly hoping this threat was going to ask for a place to put all the extra conquest you get after you cap!
