Good Unholy guide for dungeon runs

    Rotation:

When you pull a trash pack, you want to start by casting Outbreak. This applies Virulent Plague to all targets which in the end gives you among the highest damage contributions on the pack. Next on the list is using all your Cooldowns if you have them. This includes casting Dark Transformation and Unholy Frenzy. It's important that you use these GCD-locked abilities before Death and Decay so that you don't waste GCDs inside the Death and Decay window! If you for some reason are low on Runes (they might not have had time to regenerate since the last trash pack), make sure to use Soul Reaper before casting Death and Decay, again to avoid wasting GCDs inside the Death and Decay window. Once you're finished using up all these not-so-exciting stuff, it's time to pop down Death and Decay and go ham!

Now that your Death and Decay is down, you're going to start spamming out Scourge Strike/ Clawing Shadows. There are two things to keep in mind when doing this. Firstly, don't cap Runic Power. Even though you want to use Scourge Strike/ Clawing Shadows as much as possible during Death and Decay, losing out on Runic Power is actually worse! This is due to how much damage Epidemic does, as well as having a finite amount of resources. Furthermore, you want to use Epidemic if you have less than 2 Runes. This is done in order to proc Runic Corruption, potentially resulting in more uses of Scourge Strike/ Clawing Shadows in the Death and Decay window. Since Runic Corruption takes a couple of second the regenerate the Runes, it's not worth doing this at the end of the Death and Decay window (2-3 seconds before it's over).
