How about you go farm up some herbs on your own with herbalism. After you get the rank 3 skills you get 4-6 herbs per node.

Hilarious, just feels like Blizzard is hungry for the money more and more every expansion, and are willing to do whatever it takes to earn the extra bucks.

Why would they otherwise have an requirement of 18 herbs to craft one potion

What do you guys think about this?
    OP's definition of 'forced':

Store: "You can buy a 2-liter Coca-Cola bottle for $1.99, or you could buy a Coca-Cola can for $0.55, if you prefer."
OP: "OMG stop forcing me to buy the 2-liter bottle!"

An NPC that could be a potential class. Yes.

rank 3 gives you on average like 5, old school herbs only gave you 1-3 tops just bigger numbers

You never would have survived classic wow.

But the game is 7 years old if you have been playing for 7 years (or any other mmo like EQ lets say) You think things might get old. You think that things would be the same over those 7 years? If so you're nuts, evolve or die doesn't just apply to biology.

It's funny you should mention those wind serpent scales. I made so much gold off of them!! As soon as my Hunter was high enough to make it through Blade's Edge Mountains without dying (level 65 or 66), I traveled to the spider and wind serpent area. I farmed those things from level 65/66 to 70. I got a ton of leather and an epic drop. I made so much gold from it, I was able to buy epic flying immediately. I love to farm leather on my Hunter. Probably because I don't have to wander around the zones for crafting items. I can pick a spot with some mobs and just farm them all day.

I didn't have to farm in BFA to level Leatherworking, though. I had enough from leveling up. So yeah, definitely check it out.

I see why you've posted so few times in 5 years.

    You should stick to that.

This is reaaaaalllly reaching. I buy my tokens because I had 6 million gold..and now I can play until the end of 2019 with the low prices

It's mostly because the economy isn't caught up yet. They've implemented a lot of ways to reduce the economy (Notice how WQ's and Missions aren't giving huge amounts of gold?) The 5 mil mount is also another way to effectively reduce the amount of gold people have. I suspect this expansion is the one where they try and reduce people's gold amounts. The only problem lies with the players not catching onto that just yet, that and early expansion prices will always be expensive to start, give it another patch or two sadly.

Trade goods actually are crashing pretty quickly. I remember when ore used to go for 50g per unit on my server, now it's 10-20g for most types of ores. It's just a matter of time before every other trade good see's a crash.

I’ve never purchased a WoW token, and nothing I do in WoW feels forced. If I don’t like it, I don’t do it.

You are such an idiot, that it’s not even funny.. It’s a fcking MMO go FARM! You can literally go unlearn whatever profession u got and pick up herbalism. GOD how stupid are you...

  13. #153
Go farm it yourself, I don't think you realise the concept of professions.

The only thing that's stupid is the fact a token can currently buy you some of the best trinkets in the game. But no-one forced me to buy one to get Fathoms.

There are 2 ways around this:

    A) Become a Herbalist and become filthy rich

    B) Be like me and do all your dungeons (mythic) and raids with trashy potions or with the goodwill of your guild (My IL is good enough so i get invited)
The price is based on supply vs demand. With consumables requiring such high # of mats, even with low demand, it's inevitable the price will be high. Think of it this way, the cost of a consumable is directly proportional to the amount of time it takes to farm the mats for that consumable, which is extremely high this expansion.

You aren't even forced to do this. You could gear up through Normal....then through Heroic....then do Mythic. Yeah its a longer route but its doable this way.

  16. #156
I haven't bought one in ages...so I guess Blizz must not be "forcing" me to do anything?

Know what I do when I need 18 herbs? I go fucking gather 18 herbs.

  17. #157
I also strongly disagree with the reasoning about herbs. But on the other hand having so many 350-355 boe drops and also tons of mounts as BOE kinda smells that they wanted people to get tokens to buy them.

  18. #158

Make an alt herbalist/alchemist and gg. If you also have sky golem you don’t even need to gear just buy bardings.

What would you say then about half the groupfinder being filled with "boe farm" groups in the first week of BFA and people making mountains of gold from them? That Blizzard wanted people to make gold and spend them on tokens?

Powerful boes are nothing new, who remembers lucky double sided coin & scabbard of kyanos in wod?
