On the PTR right now casting Flash of Light places one of the rubik's cube placeholders over your char (and the beaconed char). So I'm guessing a FoL update is under way.

I hope they make Divine Steed shiny like that. It'd solve a lot of... style issues, of the horse not matching with the transmog. No need to worry about it, if the whole story glows yellow!

I'm guessing they planned a full Holy Paladin animation update for BFA release, only had Holy Light done, then realized they couldn't finish the rest in time and now plan to put them all in for 8.1.

I'm pretty sure that was updated for Legion actually. I remember it being more yellowy and low-res in WoD.

they added in the light being called from the sky but the animation on the floor is the same cracked floor as what flame strike used to be, they have changed that many times they have changed dk's ground aoe and blizzards ground animation has changed many times but not for consecration
