Megyn Kelly warns women: "We have swung the pendulum so far against men, due process"

Now even NBC is forced to admit that the feminist #metoo assault on due process and men has to stop

Looks like the shitlords / edgelords / whatever sarahtasher is calling us these days were right about this

Also bear in mind Trump's statement: "a very scary time for young men in America" - looks like he too was right about this, and the left-wing SJWs were wrong, again

Megyn Kelly warns women: ‘We have swung the pendulum so far against men, took away their due process rights’

NBC host Megyn Kelly claimed on Thursday that men don’t have “due process rights” in sexual assault cases because the justice system favors women.

During a discussion on The Today Show about the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, Kelly warned women that their assault claims would not be believed unless men are given the benefit of the doubt.

“If there is a presumption of guilty in all cases, how are we going to get people to listen to us?” she asked.

    Conservative pundit Amy Holmes agreed.

“We’ve seen it on college campuses based on anecdotal evidence,” Holmes said. “That’s the racial angle. And on college campuses, disproportionately, young men of color are accused of these crimes and then are put in a situation where they can’t defend themselves.”

“Absolutely,” Kelly replied. “What happened on college campuses is sort of a harbinger of what’s been going on in the country, where we’ve swung the pendulum so far back against men, took away their due process rights. They don’t have the right to cross examine. They don’t have the right to an attorney. They don’t have a right to evidence.”

“They don’t have a right to see emails that a woman sent saying maybe this was consensual,” she added. “They don’t have that right. Or they didn’t under President Obama.”

In fact, the Obama administration did put into place rules for colleges to protect the rights of the accuser. Those rules have been rescinded by the Trump administration. However, men charged with sexual assault crimes did not lose their due process rights in a court of law as a result of the Obama-era rules.

Most young men manage not to rape anybody.

Don't worry Xarim, in your fantasy universe where rape convictions aren't incredibly hard to secure, you can still pay for sex.

No no, let's just keep going, I fail to see how this can have any negative impact on our society at all.
Swing the pendulum even further towards men!

    Not married either though

Either way, not relevant to the discussion and pathetic attempt at shaming

You can believe the victim and not condemn the accused. Due process is only violated in the court of public opinionm because idiots assume either the accused is guilty or the accuser is a liar. Both sides of the situation don't give a shit about due process just their feels.

yet just an accusation of it is enough right now to get them fired and ostracized into nothingness.

it's not right, none of this is right. nobody should be ruined over an accusation.

Seeing how rare those cases actually are and how far you have to seek to find confirmation people and how hard it is to do so, especially if you look at the background of those claiming this. You can literally only conclude this victimhood is only a reality in some people their minds and as with all things media they prefer this to be as dividing as possible since that brings "good television".

The far right has always had an issue with change and always use the same defenses and always get their asses kicked since their believes are no longer at home in the current times, so best to get with the program Xarim or simply accept you'll be looked as an old grumpy man.

In short yes those few cases of false accusations that barely do more than bring a brief period of shame on the man is fully worth the change in mentality and reduced tolerance against violence towards women of this nature. And that first and foremost has nothing to do with women or rape, that's the result of how our justice system works and how the press is allowed to operate, paired with new digital media forms where regardless of the crime the accusers is always declared guilty by the public before the trial takes place, since the first trial is that of the press.

Good for her. More need to condemn the assuming someone is guilty just because of accusations.

What's concerning is how some people think that because only some men get falsely accused of rape it's ok.

The trick is when faced with multiple issues don't state that the worst one invalidates any others. It happens with male rape vs female rape too, because obviously when more women are raped then men who gives a shit about the men?

Also please don't think "oh it only temporarily ruins someones life" is a valid arguement. I'm sure you wouldn't say that if it happened to you.

Oh look, white men suddenly care about false accusations

Theres no trend in false accusations, men being thrown in jail because of false accusations, etc. Know what happens when you keep sweeping dirt under the rug? Nothing, it sits and accumulates until one day you're forced to deal with it. Thats the #MeToo movement. Years of turning a blind eye to systematic sexual misconduct and now society is forced to deal with it all at once, and its not fun. Its not sexy. Its not pretty.

The only thing that has happened is men taking on negative press some dirt they did years ago. No one is being thrown in jail, beaten, lynched, ut to death.

What needs to happen is simply. Listen. Listen to people when they bring forth accusations, openly and without judgement. Listen to accused, open and without judgement.

Crying about #MeToo is just throwing youre hat into the ring to be counted as societies problem. Next time some scandal drops, just STFU and listen to both sides before going to the keyboard. Stop whining about little bitches about stuff that has no impact on at all if you're living a decent life.

Watch the video below from NBC.
They basically just tried to paint Kavanaugh as a sex offender without a single shred of real evidence.

All those senators should be in jail for slander.

If are a US Senator- you need to be more responsible than trying to convict someone without any evidence at all.

The FBI even questioned the witnesses from Ford's testimony- all four of them couldn't corroborate her story. All four of them!

The dems just ignored that and went all in- Cory Booker even said something like "it doesn't matter if he is isn't or guilty!" Excuse me, but what? What country does Cory Booker live in? He is obviously not qualified to be a Senator if he doesn;t even understand US law.

Who voted for such a pathetic hack?

Ford's lawyer even said "Kavanaugh has to prove he's innocent." Once again: what? Her lawyer did not even understand US law- you are innocent until proven guilty, duh....

Combine that with Schumer saying he wouldn't vote for the last nominee because the nominee was white...... (he said it- it is on tape). How does he even have a senate seat still with clear racism like that? Pelosi too, watch her Youtube vids- listen to what she says.

Like, what the hell is going on with that party? How do they even think America is going to vote for that nonsense?

Do they think America is that dumb?

They tried to slander Kavanaugh that he drank too much beer. Meanwhile- Obama- in his own words- said in a speech before he was President, that he was a "thug" that smoke weed and drabnk beer often. That didn't bother the Dems when they voted him in for Pres, but Kavanaughs beer drinking 30 years ago is an issue for them?

C'mon, please people. There is video now. We see the hypocrisy and racism- its actually on tape.

They need to drop all this nonsense and come back to civility, this "resistance' thing really isn't working out for them- Trump is rocking them across the board.

I don't care what CNN and MSNBC say all day long with their clowns- I don't see the Dems winning those mid terms with this garbage.

This is true and "real" for all crimes not just rape. The trial is held in the media first and therefor it is not a valid reason to specifically call into life more protection for the accused, what all in all is simply motivated these days in the US that a perverted almost not made it on the Supreme Court.

    This is complete bullshit.

The false victimhood stance is predicated on anecdotes, so I'll counter it with one. Brett Kavanaugh. Yeah, his life was RUINED.
