Mal’Ganis Spotlight
he's actually kinda hot, tbh.
but yeah, seems really cool. might actually buy him.
His face seems slightly off. Or maybe its just the expression?
He is a warrior???? I did not see that one coming!
Imperius might be a assassin then on Blizzcon.... Or a warrior anyway.
Looks very cool. Gonna need that sci-fi skin too.
omg he looks like a pale Tim Curry from the movie Legend :P
I want to believe he over hams his lines too
I love Warcraft, I dislike WoW
Unsubbed since January 2021, now a Warcraft fan from a distance
Not another Warcraft Assassin?! I am shocked! Shocked, I say!
no? they were one of squishest heroes in wc3, in fact i can name many agility heroes that were stronger than him in fight
his only good ability was infernal, and it wasn't any 'good', it was the most OP god tier ultimate in game, but for a strength melee hero, he was sh8t and dies in 0.5 sec, u play him only for his infernal
The beginning of wisdom is the statement 'I do not know.' The person who cannot make that statement is one who will never learn anything. And I have prided myself on my ability to learn
Thrall
http://youtu.be/x3ejO7Nssj8 7:20+ "Alliance remaining super power", clearly blizz favor horde too much, that they made alliance the super power
The health swap will surely make for a lot of sensible chuckle moments, especially in random games. More seasoned players might be more in on it and are going to see it coming from miles away. But perhaps with the help of the Boss or the mercs, we can be cheeky while in the fog of war, and initiate at 1% to yoink some unsuspecting prey. ^_~
Was hoping for a cinematic intro. Looks neat but not my kind of hero.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
Bit surprised that he got to be a warrior, considering dreadlords don't usually take on fights themselves. They rather try to manipulate their enemies into making foolish mistakes that'll doom themselves (Mal'Ganis leading Arthas to Frostmourne, Tichondrius tricking Grom to drink demon blood, Detheroc turning Garithos and his forces into mind slaves, and ofcourse all the manipulation within the Scarlet Crusade). This would fit the specialist role much closer.
I'm liking his kit so far, reminds me of Balanar (Night Stalker) from the original WC3 DotA which I often mained. I only miss his Infernal ability which is quite good in WC3 melee matches.
He legit says "I'm a TURTLE" at the end of the video, I swear.
I'm really hyped for him. Haven't been interested in hero release since... idk, probably Blaze? I love everything about him, especially the way he runs and his Q combo.
Those ults look soooo fun and overpowered. And the talent where he's just blind swinging is too funny. Great timing too here with Halloween! Can't wait to hear Jaina's lines to him.
I'm not a big fan of how he looks and sounds. He comes across more as some kind of brutish thug than a cunning manipulator of the battlefield. I realize they can't (or won't) always get back the original voice actors, but when they get new ones, it sometimes seems like they don't even try to get them to sound similar to what people were used to.
Gameplay-wise, it is neat that nearly all of the WCIII abilities have made a return in some form or another; although I think Night Rush looks kinda silly. I'm gonna assume a point-and-click Sleep ability, even one that requires one to to be in melee range, was deemed to be potentially too OP.
"Go back...I just want to go back...!"
His kit is pretty fucking stupid.
His Q is League of Legends tier "three hits and a special effect on the third hit" garbage (I mean it's LITERALLY copied directly from a League hero anyways, it's Riven's Q in every single way it's just 1:1 the same ability). His E and W are whatever, his AoE heal ult is whatever but why does he have fucking Terrorblade's ult from DotA? It's a bad ult in DotA (doesn't mesh at all with Terrorblade's random ass kit) but at least with DotA you can use the excuse it's a bad game made by amateur nerds. This is supposed to be a professionally developed hero.
What the fuck lol.
Nothing in Mal'ganis' kit really supports or meshes with him getting to low health and swapping it with an enemy. At least in DotA, Terrorblade is a carry and decent at ganking so you can run gimmick comps and Shadowblade at low hp to gank. Mal'ganis' ult is fucking stupid because the dude is supposed to play as a tank, so what do you do? Pretend to be retarded and hope the enemy burns you low so you can try to trick them, or hope that in the middle of a team fight a high health person is going to show up? It's an even dumber gimmick here than it is in DotA.

Wow, 20 lvl Wrath of Nathreza. If he sucks 90% Stitches hp on 20 lvl (almost 5,7k hp) then it deals 4,3k dmg for nearby heroes. Most heroes have 3-4k hp, so it can wipe entire team by transorming fat tanks into living bombs.
It swaps % hp (similar to Alex ult), so I'm curious how it works with negative dmg (you healed enemy hero), just 0 dmg or heal for enemy team? :P
Also I'm curious how it works with stasis effects. Let say u casted link on Stitches, but enemy Auriel ulted him. It probably stops his hp loss, but what about your heal? Does it stops too or u will heal anyway?
