    First Dance Trait

    Couldn't find information on this.

Do the First Dance Trait change your rotation? I would imagine you want to use the extra crit rating on Eviscerate and not Shadow Strike?

its a bad trait anyway so i wouldnt bother much with it, what your generic trait on that piece?

According to Bloodmallet it is a really good trait for mythic+.

    https://bloodmallet.com/index.html#r...tacking&tier=3

I guess it's because of the frequent use of Shadow Dance in AOE situation. I was just wondering if there was something we should do different in our single target rotation when using the trait.

for m+ you want to use it probably on shuriken storm for the AoE

I would think it'd be best spent on evisc over ss, with mfd I guess you can get both charges on that.
Presumably some breakpoint when better spent on shuriken?
    Basically whatever does more damage.

Also it has 2 charges, which is not entirely clear from the name..

Shuriken Storm does almost no damage. It's a big waste to use a "free crit" on shuriken storm. Eviscerate gets buffed by Shuriken storm in AOE situation and can easily crit for 70k-80k so the extra crit chance should definitely be used on Eviscerate in AOE situations.

not sure if it works with secret technique but if it does i think you should prioritise that

It doesn't say Secret Technique in the tooltip so i don't think so.

But it's also the ST rotation I'm more curious about. Normally you use 2x Shadow Strike after activating Shadow Dance, so you spend the extra crit rating on Shadow Strike. My question is then, should you change that rotation in order to use the extra crit rating on Eviscerate instead or just go with the standard rotation?

id say stick to the double SS, since the evis is not a 100% guaranteed crit

Very good for M Zul, however.

well it also depends on what other traits and talents you run.

but entering dance on 2+cps for the crit buff on evis is a thing if you can get it.

doing evis+MFD evis inside dance is also good (if you run dark shadows and FW is already up or not talented)

oh and if ur AOEing always evis first when entering dance and then storm.

it's a great trait for multiple mythic bosses actually (fetid zul and mythrax come to mind) it's basically one of the best traits if you run dark shadows.

and it's also one of the better m+ traits.

Might not be the case anymore if the 8.1 changes to it go through lol. Maybe it will be better for ST, but it is definitely a nerf for M+.

This is a huge nerf for PVE and PVP.

Sad the devs want to turn traits into boring passives.

it's less passive than it used to be

2cps gives you way more activity than extra crit does.

with that said I'M not a fan of it either.

Wait what? The trait already was a passive effect before.
    A witty saying proves nothing.

Seems like a bit of a poor man's premed baked solely into dance.

Was hoping this was a trait that gave you a boost if you used /dance. Was disappointed.

I suppose that is true. Definitely preferable to the current version imo
