Hunter does not play or feel like a hunter even hunter lore does not synch with it

Which some people complain about being against the identity of a Hunter. I don't agree, but I do believe that a Hunter without his pet + without his bow/gun/crossbow is just not a Hunter. You might as well play a fucking warrior or something.

As I remember, it was in 2002 or later can't say for sure. One of the devs was mentioning that they want Hunt to be like a Fantasy character called Drizzt do'urden(if you even know who the fuck that was) they even debate to let them use swords(in the end they make rogue more like it, rogues could use bows to) ... So all that"identity" is a paile of crap.

Drizzt has animal companions. And he uses swords, not a polearm.
