Humans are above "base instincts" in most situations.

Plenty of men not fitting into categories such as toxic masculinity or hyper-masculinity have people attracted to them. Saying that men need to pretend to be a certain way "because of womyn", is just another way of shifting blame onto the sex that has the least guilt on the matter.

Women are not a hive mind, there are women wanting different things. Feeling attracted to hyper-masculinity is usually a thing in younger, naive women. Sadly, many men only want those younger, fresher women so naturally they'll need to adapt.

Exceptions prove the rule, I'm sure there are hundreds of males happy to say they love strong independent women just as there are some girls who like effeminate, needy men. But in general terms, despite human intellectual evolution and societal programming, our base instincts of fear, physical attraction and survival haven't gone away. Pretty much every human action can be devolved down to primal instincts, even in this civilised age.

I find it easy to be a man, though sometimes I find that it is not easy being an Asian man in the Southern US. Whenever I go into a store to buy something, I often feel like I am being closely watched, especially at self-checkout.

If you're complaining about how no one wants to hear about your feelings you're not actually looking for anyone to listen to you and help you deal with or care about whatever your issues are. You're just looking for attention.

There are people who have jobs to deal with helping people with mental issues, and they're far more qualified than any sort of pity party people are trying to illicit here. I suggest people dealing with such situations who are actually keen on solving said issues instead of just feeling bad about them seek out professional help.

As someone who likes Stoicism, and as I mentioned on my first post in this thread, point 17 conflates being stoic with being an emotionless individual. That is not what being stoic. It is more akin to not letting your emotions overwhelm you and keeping you from seeing and assessing situations clearly.
