Frost mags nerf on PTR

You're mentally challenged, if you think frost is more boring than 2 button arcane. Frost is the ONLY viable spec in high mythic+, this is a nerf to us as a whole fool.

And you're mentally challenged if you think frost is the "ONLY viable spec" in high mythic+. This is not a nerf to mages as a whole simply because you think people will be less inclined to bring a non-frost mage to Mythics. Frost's slows were ridiculous, they gutted it a bit too much, but it needed a nerf.

In this era of WoW where every class has to be balanced between others because of M+, that is just unacceptable.

Them nerfing Frost damage though is a bit double whammie, as Frost ST damage is pretty weak, so out only place really was in Mythic+ with large pulls, because we synergized with them so much, as comet storm has no AoE cap like every other AoE. Now damage is down, so you need to pull big packs contantly for Frost to be even, rather than be somewhat even when you pull normally and have a niche in the game that serves that spec.

Plus Frost just happened to have the best slow. Now it's Assa Rogue, so we'll probably see loads of that next.

Realistically it's all because of the MDI and M+ in general that classes are seeing nerfs.

Top tank in M+? DK by miles. Blood takes a hit.

Top DPS in M+? Frost mage, DH, Rogue. All taking hits, some big.

Top Healer in M+? Well, MW nerfs should be hitting the PTR very soon if they haven't already.

Mistweavers arent the top at all in any spec right now.

Blood Dk's will always be top dogs unless blizz blows up their kit completely, personally why even have any other tank.. at all. DK's need a retune, a hard hit, something to bring them back to earth.

DPS...meh, bring what you want unless its a shaman or feral.

Are you kidding? This makes PvP even worse.

Frost mage was the only ranged spec that is viable. It will be world of melee more than ever after this nerf.

nerfing three specs is just probably easier than buffing the remaining. it doesn't matter which way but a better balance should be in everyone's interest - so everyone can have fun with any spec instead of primary those that have obvious perks.

You are not going to make tank druid a more fun spec to play by nerfing blood. Buffing them on the other hand just might do the trick, plus you'll start seeing them in the leader boards, instead of 99% BDK

FINE! Then provide a mage spec with 0 CC but enough base damage to utterly destroy anything while it gets from 40 to 0 yard without any gap closers or defensive CDs.

This would be nice, or at least addressing Frost rotation and RNG concerns (like FoF-munching and practically requiring BF for GS casts).

Not sure what people expect. Frost is like always the best spec till people get gear and it just gets out scaled super quick

I dont see an aoebuff to either arc or fire so this is a nerf to our entire class in m+..

Im kidna hoping they buff arcane aoe.

That's cause blizzard doesnt buff and fix broken specs, they nerf good ones until it feels just as shit as the rest.
