Patch 8.1.0 PTR - Build 28440 Cinematic Audio
This build included audio for a cinematic! Spoilers ahead!
- The cinematic begins with Talanji being told to get to the king.
- Talanji asks her father to stay with her, but it sounds like he is dying.
- Rastakhan says "Forgive me" right before he dies.
- Talanji then asks Bwonsamdi what he had to done to her.
- Rastakhan didn't tell her about their bargain.
- Someone runs up to tell Talanji that the Alliance are escaping and asks for orders. Talanji sends them after the Alliance.

Don't get the cinematic. Is it a new deal, or a flashback? In any case Bwonsambdi is too soft, he has not turned on Rastakhan even now so the idea of him as this evil loan shark type guy has worn a bit thin.

"My Queen"? Has Rastakhan offered his daughter's hand to Bwonsamdi? At any rate, Talanji seems to compose herself while the Alliance threat still looms, slash while there is still vengeance to be had, dismissing the Bwonsamdi issue with a hint of a silent "We will deal with this... later."
I never took him for an evil character, just opportunistic.

Chaud, would it be impossible to use a different audio player? I literally only have the option of it going at full blast or muted. Just a quality of life thing.

The Cinematic linked in the post is the cinematic from the 8.0 questing. He linked it so people who didn't do the Horde questing know what deal they were referring to in the cinematic audio. Originally Posted by Himhim

The Cinematic Audio is pretty obvious what's going on.
Talanji is told to rush to Rastakhan. She arrives. He apologizes, then dies.
The power of death overtakes her. She turns to Bwonsamdi, asks what he did to her. He remarks that Rastakhan never told her about their bargain.
A soldier rushes in, asks what they should do about the Alliance. It'll zoom in on her face probably as the power of Bwonsamdi takes over and she tells them to go after them.
