We dont know what makes someone incel, is it their looks. Are they so unattractive that they couldnt find a mate? Is it their lack of social skills? Is it their distorted view of the opposite sex? What makes one person an incel wouldnt be the same thing that makes another incel.

If the issue is they have no access to sex, then prostitution is the solution to the issue. No effort needs to happen on their part. Its the least amount of effort in fact. If their mental state (wallow in bitterness and victimhood) was caused by the lack of access to sex then legal prostitution would solve those issue and possibly help their esteem or social skills to the point where there mental issues are diminished.

Incels are people who have trouble finding love/sexual companionship. They then blame outward factors (their looks, their ethnicity, their height, whatever) and then apply that blame to other people (women don't want me because I'm short, other guys look better than me and this is why I can't get laid, etc).

A guy who blames himself for his own lack of fulfillment might be sort of a loser, but at least he recognizes his faults and he can try to do something about it. Incels pass the buck and start blaming other people. That's basically what an incel is.

That video was just sad. These people don't seem 'bad' just lost. They are lost in life and need help.

When I was younger I felt like no woman would ever date or love me, I had social anxiety, more so around women, and you really do never overcome it, now days I am very happy, I have a girlfriend who loves me and a job that pays well enough, I go outside a lot. I love getting away from the computer.

I do often wandering into self loathing and put myself down, but my girlfriend has been a great help in getting me to feel positive about myself to a point where I make it my goal on these forums to be positive (see sig)

Well that's kind of the problem - incels are what's left over when you subtract everyone who gets over their self pity and eventually has a proper social/sex life. By definition they're the ones failing to (or deliberately avoiding) have that.

In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of them actually have sex, or even have sex fairly regularly. It's more an identity or philosophy of life (if you can call it that) than an actual curable condition.
