Help me a choose a MOBO

Can you help me decide between these; (i5 8400, GTX 1060 3 gb and 16 gb RAM)

MSI H370 GAMING PLUS INTEL H370
    ASUS B360-H GAMING INTEL B360
    MSI Z370-A PRO INTEL Z370
MSI B360 GAMING PRO CARBON INTEL B360

I heard z series is for overclock. Gaming pro carbon seems the better one but I don't have any knowledge on MOBOs.

B and Z are technically "for" overclocking, but they all work fine. Personally I'd go for the Asus, I've been hearing of a lot of dead mobo's coming from MSI, specially the Carbon series.

You're right, I was thinking of Ryzen boards for some reason... really wish they would separate it out better.

I'd still get the Z (unless you're on a budget and planning other purchases), you have more control over various systems (like vcore for undervolting and memory timings/voltage) and it will come in handy in case you move on to a K cpu.
I think they can also force constant max multiplier on multiple/all cores for locked cpus (but that may be vendor/model specific, not sure about that particular board, research needed).

For an 8400? Can't OC it. Get a B360 with the ports /features you want.
