I'm gonna echo it looking like the Nighthold for difficulty levels. Jaina's going to be absolutely bonkers on heroic so probably a bit thicker than Gul'dan was to start off. But the rest of them look like Nighthold: 3 warmup bosses, 3 bosses with unique gimmicky mechanics that will be hit or miss, 2 bosses that are considered tough, and a big bad one to end.

We have absolutely no idea what this mythic tier is going to look like for tuning. All we know is Mekkatorque is gonna be ABSOLUTE BALLS on mythic.

If it's anything like the last few heroic raid difficulties, it will be a complete faceroll and easily puggable week 1 if you're not complete trash.

Cabal Heroic testers were scaled to 383 it looked like, and that's the raid coming post BoD. Not sure what they were thinking there (yeah they scale to an absolute minimum but still, normal BoD is 385)

First test is about mechanics. PTR players who really test bosses tend to be better mythic players so to make sure they actually have to play all mechanics (eg not just bursting through without noticing) scaling probably be has to be quite hard. Numbers come way later in the process.

Make the raids only hard and then you get raids like Firelands and Dragon Soul.. That's what happens when the higher ups says raids aren't profitable.

People aren't going to get better in WoW. It doesn't happen.
