thinking about this, seems to be half-assed by them to scramble the names but at the same time leaving the avatar (2nd best personal identifier) intact, which can easily be used to identify this borg as having been linadra before assimilation

While you can recognize the avatar, it's not deemed "personal information", which is what was what they needed permission to transfer over.

Like I said in an S&F thread; this happened for people because MMOC didn't divulge your personal info to another company, their new owner, without your express permission. It's a good thing.

Is there a way for the mods to give us our old names back? I mean I'm not too bothered with the name, just a pain in the ass if I need to relog and can't remember my username.
